How do we conduct Shalat in places like Moon or Mars in the future?

Due to the advance in technology, in the future moon and mars would probably occupied by human. How one would conduct shalat (prayer) in such a place. Of course it'll not be practical to build a custom building with near 360 degrees rotation and place a gyroscope for near-exact pointing to Ka'bah. Any ideas? Quran is the source ofcourse, but I haven't manage to find the ayat yet

While we are told to maintain "salaat" at dawn and dusk, in order to align ourselves with the universal energy, the deeper significance is showing us that we are trying to put ourselves in the "Alpha" brain wave state, which is the MEDI-State between awake and sleep. This is the most receptive state where we still have control of some of the WILL, unlike in full dream mode where the will does not operate. Thats why you can dream about the craziest stuff and it is not questioned until you wake up.
Anyway, the "merging of the day and night" is a metaphor for this middle state which is what we are trying to achieve so we can reprogram our behavior.

It is apparent that you are still unaware of the meaning of "salat" according to al-qur'aan otherwise you would not have asked such questions. There is no command to face the kaabah in al-qur'aan, in "salat" or otherwise. On moon and mars there is sunrise and sunset just like earth and one can time "salat" accordingly. Even on earth there are areas near the North and South Pole where a day could be 6 months long; in those areas one can time the salat according to one's inbuilt clock and the sleep/wake cycle which brother idolfree alluded to.
"Salat" according to al-qur'aan is better translated as "learning connection/link" or "process of turning towards" when used in the context of "aqimoo al-salat".

i think it's very likely that we may ever live on the moon or mars. First there's no water. How much water are you going to transport back and forth? . Second, if such a 'migration' took place, can you imagine how much it would take to move there? Only the EXTREMELY rich can afford that and they're run out of their 'wealth' pretty fast. Are we going to start over in terms of building everything all over? It's pretty unlikely. The look of the future in sci-fi movies is more of a fantasy. What's so wrong with this planet? You really think the conditions would ever be better on any other planets in this solar system?
Humans can't get a hint, there's a reason God didn't make other planets (in this solar system) habitable.

God created it for us in a perfect way, but we are too greedy and want more hmmmm.well Go and live on Mars, I don't want to.

Correct, as long as Mankind doesnt learn spiritual cultivation, and transcends the lower/animal nature, we will just take all our problems to another, less suitable planet and do the same thing. We watch Star Wars and those shows and see that as far as mankind can see they are not progressing spiritually. They think that a laser sword is progress over a steel sword, but its still the same animal nature controlling them. )

I don't think you'll ever find the ayat that tells you to face Ka'bah during shalat. And yes, I don't think 2144 is the one either. Just my understanding bro. D
