The Message is now available at iuniverse.com after all initial changes were incorporated...Here is a list of the key changes
- The number of pages have been reduced by nearly 100 pages (total pages is 494). This was achieved by removing spacing between verses.
- The price of The Message subsequently has been reduced to $24.95 (original was $ 29.95)
- The disclaimer occupies a full page on its own to be clear to any reader (previously is was sandwitched into the main title page).
- Small typos or gramatical errors or otherwise pointed out by this group have been amended.
- Certain verses (especially related to Pilgrimage and fasting) have been amended based on the in-depth discussion on the subject.
- An introduction "How to Study the Quran" based on brother Damon's excellent suggestion has been added.
- The chapter/sura number now appears on the top of every right hand side page to make indexing and searching easier.
- The "Arabic word index" (showing the translation of certain words) has been replaced with a "Quranic Word Index" (showing verse numbers for key words, concepts).
