"If 1200 years of Islamic scholarship is correct, please explain how 3000+ years of Jewish scholarship and 1800 years of Christian scholarship is incorrect. When one takes this path, fallacious logic becomes the norm, not the exception."

Thats a good quote for people that use outside Quran and use the length of time as their excuse.
"Until we have the courage to recognize cruelty for what it is
? whether its victim is human or animal ?
we cannot expect things to be much better in this world...
We cannot have peace among men
whose hearts delight in killing any living creature.
By every act that glorifies or even tolerates such moronic delight in killing
we set back the progress of humanity."- Rachel Carson (marine biologist)

I see and understand that God explained the message in the Qur'an via the messenger. The problem I have is in seeing what hadith collectors have to do with any of this. If God had wanted us to follow what they've collected, I would think He would have mentioned something about them to come. I'm sure He was aware of what would happen years later. (!!)

"The truth of the matter is that we should live as though every day is going to be our last, that means being a good Muslim and following the teachings of the Quran. If you do this, you will not panic when the REAL Last Day comes, but you will be highly anticipating your eternal reward."

Different salaat ways does not mean division. Real divisions is when each believes the other ways to pray is not valid and not accepted. Real division means I am right and you are wrong. I am a Muslim and you are not. There is different ways we give charity and we do zikr. It does not mean there is division.

"Why should "we" be identified? If you're intelligent, do you have to belong to the (inteligentia) group to be identified? Actions speak for us and God will identify us. Isn't that how we connect to others and relate to them, through their behaviour and actions and not their labels?"

"Yeah, even now I don't consider myself to have "found" the truth. I firmly believe truth is a process, not an achievement. I look back on what my beliefs were at the age of 18, 21, 25, etc. and they were never static. There's a clear evolution..."

"The saudhis are blessed people. We don't want to argue with them because they have beards. That shows how rightly guided they are"
