Just an observation!

Qur?aan 2458
O you who believe, permission must be requested by your servants and the children who have not attained puberty (before entering your rooms). This is to be done in three instances-before the Dawn Salat, at noon when you change your clothes to rest, and after the Dusk Salat. These are three private times for you. At other times, it is not wrong for you or them to mingle with one another. Allah thus clarifies the revelations for you. Allah is Omniscient, Most Wise.My question is, why is it required by our sevants and our children (only those who have not attained puberty)to ask for permission to enter in the rooms where we are doing salat? The childrens who have attained puberty are not required to ask they can enter! This are private times where we are supposed to be alone and do the salat and the servants and the children (those that have not yet attained puberty) have to ask for permission before entering. Let's say like knock on the door wait for the answer and then enter or remain outside if we say so. What I observed is that If salat is the way we do it today then even if someone were to knock on the door and ask for permission to enter he/she would not be answered until one is finnished with way of today's salat. So, I assume salat must be something other then the present day salat of the majority. Is there something I am missing? Can any one shed some more light on this please? Im trying to learn and thanks to Allah I learned a lot from this site.

this is not to be done DURING the salat but BEFORE and AFTER the salat and during the noon time when they take off their clothes . -

Noon time is when people are normally at work. Nobody I know takes their clothes off at noon. People normally get undresses/dressed before they go outside their home or when they come back from outside. The word "thahirah" literally means "appearence" not "noon".

O you who believe should ask your permission those who posses your right hands (your wives) and those who did not attain age/understanding of you three times before accepting advice and while its layed aside/relieved from your actions visible and when there is uncertainty of the advice three times to shun for you so there is not on you nor on them sin afterwards in your relationships to you some of you (over) some others thus makes clear Allah to you the Verses and Allah (is) All-Knowing All-Wise.

Now, can someone tell me what this means? I mean, how many prayers are mentioned here, 3 or 5? Because i pray five but this sentence is keeping me up all night, sometimes. confused confused confusedTherefore be patient with what they say, and celebrate (constantly) the praises of thy Lord, before the rising of the sun, and before its setting; yea, celebrate them for part of the hours of the night, and at the sides of the day that thou mayest have (spiritual) joy. (Qur'an, 20130)
