The steps to approach Islam.

A question, how does this work?

I explain.
An ex-agnostic approachs Islam. First she faces the traditional Islam as it is the widely spread Islam, including the controversial points, that are partially removed when she faces the existence of progressive/Quran Alone stream.

Along these steps, the attempts to read The Quran come and go. Once determined to read it completely to postpone decisions till getting all the meanings, still some trouble.

The problem is as follows
Quran says that the reader has to be sincere, that means, among other, to not carry preconceptions, if not, the true meaning won't be showed to him/her because God will mislead him/her, or put a bandage, etc. So, each time some doubt, surprise, alarm comes, the reader thinks..."one of two, or this is really alarming or I am sticked in some prejudice, so, I can't understand the true meaning"

Conclusion to accept what is written in The Quran wholeheartedly, she has to believe and accept it first, beforehand, and then, she is allowed to verify, to check, study, think and so.

Well , she can't deal with the order of events, if one has to believe first, that is similar to believe blindly, if not, the true meaning will never be displayed. And the circle starts once and again, not with all verses, but with some of them.

I don't know if any of you could comment something or add some light.
