    ASLM! handshake
20130 So be patient to what they are saying and glorify the grace of your Lord before the rising of the sun FAJR , and before its setting THE "MIDDLE ONE" CALLED ASR OR AS IT IS "BEFORE ITS SETTING" COULD BE FROM THE MOMENT IT STARTS DECENDING ZUHR (OFCOURSE I HAVE TO CHECK WITH DICTIONARIES THE WORDS BECAUSE I DONT KNOW ARABIC AND THE TRANSLATION COULD BE WRONG INSHALLAH SOON), and during the night glorify ESHA ; and at various parts of the day perhaps you may be content. AND THIS LAST PART ALSO HAVE TO SEE IT WITH PATIENCE BECAUSE AT VARIOUS PARTS MIGHT MEAN VOLUNTARY PRAYERS OR OTHER PRAYERS (THE MISSING 2 PRAYERS THAT ARE NOT MENTIONED SPECIFICALLY).

brother alen its right we have to get to an agreement of whats the number,100% quranic and write articles, websites, ect ect giving hardcore evidence that it clearly shows its 3 or 5.

    till next take care everyone

          Salamun Aalaikum,

Here is the translated version from Google translator. Might not be 100% accurate but i think it gives the overall picture of the opening post in that thread.

God alone knows three prayers, not five
The number of prayers imposed on the day

The comparative advantage imposed prayer that God may be appointed to the people of appointed them, and then in the book, the first thing that came down from the Quran in prayer imposed saying glorified ?? O Almzml Qom night only slightly reduced by half, or slightly Moreover column and the Holy Trtela see the verse of "This clearly how God appointed us the amount of prayer Then to which they make that amount nearly half of the night and then appointed to be at night and thus our Prophet Muhammad, and a range of those who believe him and God said to them in the book ?? Lord knows that you are less than two thirds of the night, and one third and half of the range of who you ... the "<Almzml> This is the prayer that were imposed at the outset, then God with a prayer the night previous times any other prayers and the other in the early morning and fell in the inherent contradiction in that it says God (remember the name of your Lord and intrinsic hate, One night Vasjd a rosary and long nights) and the Koranic verse that includes all the prayers that were imposed at the outset, prayer in the early morning prayer time and originality and says (and remember the name of your Lord and hate integral) and long prayers at night, which is known by saying (and night Vasjd a rosary and long nights) passed me on the prayer period of time and then came the alleviation of God indirectly us this heavy burden and go read the ?? says that the Lord knows you Ed Nee two-thirds of the night, half, one third, and a range of who you, and God estimated night and day, it was learned that would not Thossoh Ftab you, Vakkarawa flow of the "Holy <Almzml> revelations of this verse in the long prayer at night goes lying as possible, Six mitigation in the night prayer known to do and kept on praying and other hate when heritage, If there were no prayer at the ball and came to the inherent mitigation, Alleviating introduce prayer extenuating neglected as we see today must be a prayer again imposed bind people Briha, only a prayer ball and that was inherent with doing, eased to God and kept praying the ball and authentic, The Koran down from time to time this little prayer when any ball and heritage, and whenever we read the hostel gave more detail that came Isra confirmed this prayer, and drawing final borders, where it said (Start praying for the sun to Dluk twilight of the night, The wedding Dawn that the wedding was memorable Dawn, One night Fthjd goes by you Ibaathk hoping that the good Lord position), as noted above, in the early morning prayers mentioned here in this verse by saying
(The wedding Dawn), as stated before prayers in the inherent mentioned here saying (to Dluk sun to the twilight of the night), as was done here goes the saying (and night Fthjd goes by you) The Koran states the same prayer after Isra There has been no change, remained the same time and in the same border that the seal of God and the Koran ended letter and Sabine that God detailed

          Prayers in the early morning

Time such prayers on the first day

Amount of time is the amount of party day and will start from the beginning of the day when faded to darkness before sunrise.

          In the evening prayers.
Time this prayer at the end of the day,
Amount of time is the amount of party-Nahar, The timing of this starts before sunset to the end of the day at the beginning of the dark any contrary to what lies completely in the morning
          Prayers at night
Time this prayer at the beginning of the night
Amount of time The timing of the first night to Gska even when no darkness, Time, which includes the end of the day and the first night is inherent
In sum, God imposed on us three times places of worship, prayer in the first day and called Dawn, prayers at the end of the day, and called Central, and prayer at the beginning of the night and called the dinner, and maybe this God -
But what goes in the night, and said - this has venomously God falsely said to God, unless maybe by the sultans
I Atabani This is the martyr.
The verses that you inflicted God in prayer imposed
Rahman said ?? Start and prayers parties day and night "the Zlvi <Hood 114> means that the prayer is performed in the first day and so the amount of terminal and take the other part of the night and this verse and fully clear, reflected the times that prayers are on it three times. and now, after this verse to alleviate.

Any other says God (and resulting praising Lord before sunrise and before sunset and night Vsph pots and the outskirts of the day you may please), this verse gives detailed another such prayers, it shows the limits of the parties Nahar reported by the previous verse, so ends the first party of the day before sunrise and the start of the second party before sunset
This verse also came after alleviate do.

The show each other any border prayer, he said God | | Start Dluk praying for the sun to twilight wedding night and dawn to dawn, is known for wedding ... | | This verse shows clear that the prayer begins Dluk sun just before sunset and ending the twilight of the night when much darkness of night, (The wedding Dawn)
Start any time of dawn prayers and take all that time until sunrise, times of prayer imposed in this verse and utterly aligned with the times versus imposed in the previous two and what comes after.

Any other landed in Surat <s> mention God in prayer that it be imposed in these times says
(And resulting praising Lord before sunrise and before sunset and night Wspha and Adbar Sijood) Valslah not remain the same are consistent with what has gone down before.

, And to convey to you the mandate fell after Isra In the city, where there and get the parties mentioned by God in his book Valaih that landed in the prayer that God shows prayers in the morning the first ball, The second and third are at the eve of the inherent, the Almighty says in Sura parties (O believers rope of God and his often Sphoh hate and authentic) the same times as mentioned before, Valaih aligned with the hostel before.

You any other landed in Surat Absolver, which stresses these times, in which God says (Vasabr that God promised the right, and Astgfr to Zenbek and diving praising Lord blindness and virgin) This is the prayer that the Prophet was Isaliha

As well as the prophet of prophets by such prayers, and take an example from that which we mentioned God in the Koran, Venbi God David was praying this prayer in particular, God said it (and remind honors Daoud was that Allied Awab I laughed mountains with summer blindness and radiance s)>> means that David had prayed regularly in the early morning, when the Oriental and prayed blindness, the same times are being urged by God, Valslah not changed.

As well as a prophet of God Zakaria he was praying this prayer itself, and thus the command of God was (said your people only spoke three days only a symbol, and remember your Lord and often resulting blindness and early Al Omran)>> God ordered praying blindness and early, as ordered by Dawood and also we pray with us in these times, this prayer is Zakaria his people without more or less of them, Allah says in Sura Mariam (ran to his people from the inner sanctuary Vohi them
That swan hate and Ashia Mary)>> Valanbiwae not change or increase Ingson not disobey God, Valslah of legislatures by the guardian of all the prophets of God, and not only in these times, not staying in the Quran - such prayers, What we are seeing from praying today is only making people across jumped decade.
These are the times that Isaliha Prophet and the believers with him <Sahaba>
God said about them (and console yourself with those who claim Lord Balgdah and trembled want a cave)>> and any patient with those who could be good worshipers Lord Balgdah and trembled any arriving in these times mean prayers three previously mentioned, Fqulh claiming Lord means Lord, because the word could be good worshipers pray in the Holy calls to the question, calling Valdawae worship here is the time of prayer means of worship, Add to this that he called Lord Balgdah and trembled want to hand Vabbadh any prayers are with which they pray for God's sake, either, which is intended to question the interest retained by the people. The verses that call to worship pray for the many, I recall, for example, what is clear, crystal clear in saying glorified (and mosques God do not let one with God, and that, as the Abdullah asking him to be nearly started genies)>> any mosques that God alone do not worship the one God with a speech calling on worship, Since the Abdullah meant what he called the Prophet worship God in any prayed, This is the prayer the prophet of God, who ordered them patience Obey God you first thought very well.

          Prayer Alenavlh
Valenavlh not only in the night after the completion of the rite, God says (Start praying for the sun to Dluk twilight of the night, The wedding Dawn that the wedding was memorable Dawn, One night Fthjd goes by you, hoping that the Lord Ibaathk good position Isra)>> This verse included prayers all, the duty and Alenavlh, We clearly stated that God
Duty first, and then after the Alenavlh although the latter mediates DUTY This verse came amounts shown praying, Fqulh Dluk Start praying for the sun to the twilight of the night mean that prayer trembled begins Dluk sun just before sunset and ends at twilight any night when the darkness of night, and the amount of prayer end of the day and night, the first prayers and saying the Koran Fajr means dawn prayers and for the dawn of the beginning of the first day before sunrise and either place, he did not make it a certain level as it had been previously imposed and the amount was almost half of the night, According to some scientists twist their tongues Asseraf lying to the people about the truth of this verse Dluk SAYING that the sun descends on the mean blindingly so and want to introduce noon prayers and the times slanderously on people and the fact that Dluk sun is interpreted by the previous verses which indicate that the sun Dluk be at the end of the day, In a wink, and a little before sunset and the sun wants to adhere to land in the eyes of the viewer
          This is Dluk sun.
God is imposed on us in the Holy Koran three prayers a day in the two parties day and the other at the beginning of the night God says in the Koran in the Hood (Start and prayers Zlvi parties day and night) to be the first to start the day with the advent of dawn and ending before sunrise and the other at the end of the day, and quite similar with the first to begin Althea Dluk faith in the sun before sunset, and not after sunset, as we see today, and it will end with the beginning of the night prayer, which begins with the prayer ends, the third and last night when Bgsag much darkness of night and ends here imposed prayer, and opens the door to prayer Alenavlh and prayers in the daytime at all.
This is the prayer rite, which Alenavlh flag for the messenger of God and nation, then this prayer Prophet who wanted to know when the Prophet prayed, as well as the righteous and God's praying Alenavlh at night only, and give examples of this.
There he called righteous men of God worshipers Rahman Alenavlh They were praying in the night, as the God who
(Rahman and worshipers who walk on the ground Hona and if they transgressed against, react by calling an address peace and those who stay for Lord Sjda and grounded) Fqulh stay means that the connections at night. At this time also the prayer devotion Almighty said (that devotion in the eyes of paradises and taking the Lord Ataham they were before they improved slightly from the night Ihjaon) Vslathm was at night. God urges us to Alenavlh at night and says (security is a container Parenthood night prostrate and warns the afterlife exists and hopes the mercy of God), said the people of the book (from the book, reciting verses from the list of the nation's container night they Esjdon) All these are the connections at night.
This is the prayer of dictation, Alenavlh inflicted upon God in writing, Falvridh be on the outskirts of the day and the beginning of the night and Alenavlh comes later in the night Nothing in the Koran never prayers in other times, and no one prayed in other times prophets and the righteous alike.
In these times that disappears under all things be any extended while he was moving in the day to be extended in the end. This means praying shadows at the end of the day and therefore praying things are forced, So in these times Tsjd All things voluntarily and involuntarily Those who voluntarily Esjdon Esjdon their own bodies covered with so instructed by God in these times, and that parents who Esjdon coercion Bazlalhm becomes extended in these times
Almighty said (and bow down to God in the heavens and the earth voluntarily and involuntarily and Azlalhm Balgdo and Alassal), and this is clear that the shadows Tsjd in these times praying coerce those who do not want to Isadjadua God voluntarily, He also said
(Ulm to see what God created from nothing up to bask on the right and Chammael Sjda God they Dachron)
They are forced Dachron mean, For this God made us pray in the morning before sunrise completed before any appearance of the shadows and start blindness before sunset when the shadows and extends start in the disappearances, and not after sunset as we see it today, and started praying after the sun had committed intentional wrongdoing and take a big story and signed one with the prophets, that the act was not deliberate, Venbi God who came to the Solomon days stingy excellent and that was the time and trembled while the sun had set is extant then went part of the prayer when the sun had set avenged those horses evil revenge and noticed the words of God in this regard (and Ohbena of Dawood Suleiman Al Yes Awab as he offered blindness Saavnat
I said I liked horses love goodness to mention me even vanished decency, the shortage Ftafqa market survey
Biota and Al)>> Even vanished decency mean even the sun had set, This is a difficult time in prayer before sunset because people still associated matters minimum, This is the prayer of Central warned by God in that prayer, which was held in the morning, the time of dawn prayers named Dawn, held in the designated prayer Dinnertime The dinner, which was arranged by their denominated praying Central Nothing in the Koran-the names of these three prayers three.

The management of the Koran certainly knows note that there are no prayer in the day and that God never made the day for the Eradication of people and possessions of our Prophet said that after the command to worship in the night (during the day that you Subha long Almzml)>> This means that you all day to spend Howaejk Ftferg of worship in the night.

The God in the book is that today when three people SINS sleep and put their clothes, Valaourat night, which is set by God to pray the dawn prayer and prayer because prayer is at night either exposure that are in the exact day and time of noon prayers did not identify any of the absence of any prayer at this time and hopes for a good Quranic verse
(O believers who requests your permission to own faith and who have not attained the dream of you three times, before dawn prayers, When put in place Thiabacm of noon, and after the prayer you three SINS)> Noor>
Consider this verse well, If there was a noon prayer or prayer times to set one of these rugged noon Salatin that afternoon between them.

            Peace all,

He also goes on to argue that the middle Salat has been given extra mention in 2235 because it is the time of day when we may be most preoccupied with trade/business (he gives the example of Solomon being preoccupied with viewing horses during this time until he misses the Salat).

Therefore, 11114 speaks of 3 Salat times (two edges + night), while 1778 only speaks of the middle Salat on its own to emphasize its importance in-line with 2235 (from the sun`s decline to the early night).

There are some logical problems with the above reasoning.

Firstly, which salat would be the "middle" salat ? If there are 3 salats x, y and z then depending on which one is the first or initial salat would determine the middle salat. For example if x is the first or initial salat then y would be the middle salat, but if y is the first salat then z would be the middle one, and if z is the first salat then x would be the middle one.

Allah never leaves something vague as al-qur'aan is clear and detailed. Can anyone give qur'aanic evidence as to which salat is CLEARLY the first salat according to al-qur'aan ? If the middle salat is so important as to be mentioned separately in 2238 then Allah should have clearly told us which salat He is talking about as the middle salat and not leave it unclear and up to guess work.

Secondly, in 2238 when it says protect the salats in the beginning of the verse, that logically includes ALL salats and then it is redundant to say AND the middle salat, if the middle salat is a separate salat, because the word salats in the beginning of the verse automatically includes the middle salat as well IF THERE IS INDEED A MIDDLE SALAT. That logically proves that by "salat al-wusta" Allah does not mean a separate middle salat but is giving a descriptive property of how ALL our salats should be, i.e. the best/balanced/moderate salat, meaning that all our salats should be upheld in the best/balanced/moderate manner.

Thirdly, if one studies the usage of all the words derived from the root WST in al-qur'aan one finds that the meaning "middle" does not fit in any of those usages but the meaning best/balanced/moderate fits in those occurrences. Thus in 2238 "wusta" cannot mean middle because of the logical contradiction presented in the second paragraph above, and can only mean "best/balanced/moderate" as per context of that verse and the usage of similar words throughout al-qur'aan.

Fourthly, 3830-33 talks about missing the "remembrance/zikr" of Allah, not "salat". Whereas salat includes "zikr/remembrance of Allah", it also includes much more, and "zikr/remembrance" of Allah can be performed separate from salat too. To determine the timings of salat one has to focus on the verses which clearly talk about the times of "salat" only and not all the verses that talk about praise, glorification, or remembrance of Allah. For example 20130 talks ONLY about "glorifying" Allah at certain times, and whereas salat includes glorifying Allah, one can glorify Allah at times other than salat and separate from salat also.

When one thus looks for the timings of salat one clearly finds only 2 salat according to al-qur'aan, salat al-fajr (dawn salat) and salat al-isha (dusk salat). Remember that al-qur'aan is clear, detailed, and Allah does not leave cryptic or crooked messages for us in al-qur'aan.

181 Praise be to God who sent down the Scripture to His servant, and He did not make in it any crookedness.

3928 A compilation in Arabic, without any crookedness, that they may be righteous.

151 A.L.R, these are the signs of the Scripture, and a clear Quran.

271 T'.S, these are the signs of the Quran and a clear Scripture.

3669 And We did not teach him poetry, nor does he need it. This is a reminder and a clear Quran.

            Peace,

              Peace all,

In my research on salat according to al-qur'aan I came across 1779 which I have read before but it suddenly occurred to me that this verse is proof that there is no more required salat at night after the one at dusk (from rubbing of the sun against horizon to the darkness of the night)

1778 You shall perform the oath of allegiance at the setting of the sun till the twilight; and the Quran at dawn; the Quran at dawn is witnessed.
1779 And from the night you shall reflect upon it additionally for yourself, perhaps your Lord would grant you to a high rank.

By the usage of the words "wamina allayli" (and from the night) in 1779 it is clear that after the time of the dusk salat mentioned in 1778 (from the rubbing of the sun at horizon to the darkness of the night), there is no more REQUIRED salat at night. This again proves only 2 REQUIRED salat salat al-fajr (dawn) and salat al-isha (dusk).

              Peace

                  Peace ammarb,

In my understanding there is no such thing as the "middle" prayer in al-qur'aan. That is the wrong translation of "salat al-wusta" which means "best/balanced/moderate salat" in the context of 2238 and al-qur'aan as a whole. According to 2238 Allah wants us to uphold all our salaats in the best/balanced/moderate manner. Looks like you did not read my post above in reply to brother Layth at the following link in which I showed that the translation of salat al-wusta as middle prayer is illogical and wrong

                  http//www.free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=6713.msg106375#msg106375

Brother Layth is of the understanding that there is a night salat after dusk or twilight but 1779 proves that theory wrong as per my post above.

Thus according to al-qur'aan, there are clearly only TWO REQUIRED TIMED SALAT for muslimeen/mumineen for remembrance of Allah salat al-fajr (dawn) and salat al-isha (dusk). What the traditional sectarians call "maghrib" salat is actually called "isha" salat in al-qur'aan and its time is from the rubbing of the sun at horizon at its setting until darkness of night (which is traditionally the time for "maghrib" salat according to sectarians). What the sectarians call "isha" salat after "maghrib" salat does not exist per al-qur'aan.

Hope that helps. You should do your own research before accepting my understanding as the correct one and following it.

                  Peace.

I agree with brother Tanweer that there are two salaats Fajr and Ishaa (dusk). Night in the quran is lail

In Arabic a'shaa (&#1609 means dim-sighted, or someone who starts to be blind from the evening onwards untill the morning.

Moreover, The quran mentioned two salaats only by name Fajr and Ishaa (245. It's interesting that in the same verse mid-day (thaheera &#1577 is mentioned, but no salaat linked to it. Or rather the whole day is mentionedfrom before fajr till the ishaa, but only two prayers are mentioned. I think this is a decisive verse on how many times we should perform salaat.

I also agree with him on the meaning of middle as moderate/balanced. It's mentioned somewhere in the quran that we should neither raise our voices nor whisper during salaat. The "middle salaat" is a further confirmation of that manner.

The middle tone of voice mentioned in 17110 is an important feature of salat. It is different from the silent and secret manner recommended for dua in 755 and dikhr in 7205

Traditionally the first two rakas of the dawn, dusk and night prayers are said in the middle tone. The brother at www.mostmerciful.com/realities-of-our-dailyprayers.htm has presented a case for three times salat based on this

                        peace Zara,

You may wish to recheck 755.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

Literal Call your Lord humbly and humiliated and hiddenly/secretly, that He does not love/like the transgressors/violators .
Hilali/Khan Invoke your Lord with humility and in secret. He likes not the aggressors.
QXP (He has the power to revive dead nations). Call unto your Lord humbly and in the secrecy of your hearts. He does not love those who transgress the bounds of what He has ordained as right.
Free-Minds Call on your Lord openly and in secret. He does not like the aggressors.
Arberry Call on your Lord, humbly and secretly; He loves not transgressors

The literal translation emphasizes the hidden/secret nature of dua. So do the other translations except Free-Minds. Why has the word "openly" been introduced into the Free-Minds translation?

before it sets is the end of the day (taraful nahaar)

Incorrect. Sunset is the end of the day.

I am no longer a Sunna-rejecter. See 4:59-65, 62:2-4, 3:31, 4:156, 7:157 Messenger teaches and is to be followed and obeyed. Examples of revelation received which is not in the Qur'an: 3:123-126, 33:37, 2:187, 66:3, 62:9.
