what does glorify mean?
-
hello
can someone tell me, how does one glorify God?
it says in
20130
So be patient to what they are saying and glorify the grace of your Lord before the rising of the sun, and before its setting, and during the night glorify; and at various parts of the day perhaps you may be content.i've asked other people and they say glorify is not the same as pray
so i'd like to know what glorify means and how do i do it.also, it says in the bosnian translation of the Qur'an
in 1778 that we have to pray from noon until the setting of the sun
but in the one on freeminds it says
"1778 You shall perform the oath of allegiance at the setting of the sun till the twilight; and the Quran at dawn; the Quran at dawn is witnessed. "it's different and i don't know which is right
and others have told me that it means that we should just glorify God and not pray
so i'd like to know the difference between pray and glorify -
Salam,
my personal understanding is when you pray you are glorifying,so there seems to be no problems with prayers as a form of glorification, though glorification is not limited to salat and can be done anytime anywhere.Peace

peace nerspi, all,
I did a little study of this previously, and I found it very interesting and I believe this concept is significantly deeper than to simply praise by mouth. I would suggest researching yourself initially by using 'Project Root List' and looking up the root Siin-Ba-Ha.

Then, once done, read the following discussion
