9:31 not the priests, Where is one supposed to get the message from?

How do you serve the lord or hear of him if you are not educated to read the quran e.t.c?

YUSUFALI They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary; yet they were commanded to worship but One Allah there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him).
PICKTHAL They have taken as lords beside Allah their rabbis and their monks and the Messiah son of Mary, when they were bidden to worship only One Allah. There is no Allah save Him. Be He Glorified from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)!
SHAKIR They have taken their doctors of law and their monks for lords besides Allah, and (also) the Messiah son of Marium and they were enjoined that they should serve one Allah only, there is no god but He; far from His glory be what they set up (with Him).FREE-MINDS.
- They took their Priests and Monks to be patrons besides God, and the Messiah son of Mary, while they were only commanded to serve One god, there is no god but He, be He glorified for what they set up.
It is simple He is alive and with you ? so listen to his words.
One may visually experience them, have a feeling or something may sound just right ? I think all that is from Allah.

What we are bing told is that we should not blindly trust a human being for the simple reason that theyhave the TITLE of Priest/Imam/Reverend, etc. We do not make them Lords, having the final say in what we believe.
Instead, we should listen to ALL information, and take it and verify it in life. This way we take belief to KNOWING, and there is a BIG difference in believing and knowing.

I do - unfortunately and i think He is the Allah spoken of in the quran.
There is us and Him.
And He is the One who brought us into being and as long as we behave as His vehicles we are okay by Him.

Absolutely, as long as those new understandings are verifyable truths that bring forth verifyable results in your life.

Yes, The God, but The God manifests through enlightened human beings who cultivate thier nafs(subconscious). Remember, our job is to purify the subconcious(nafs). Those who verify the truth pass it on to others. The only way we know who to trust is to take the information and verify it. We are responsible for our eyes , ears and intellect, never forget that.

The GOD IS Being, and we SERVE (Ibadah) as Its vehicles of consciosness.
