    Here is a question.

Where in the Quran does Allah make mention of the first quibla that was later changed toward the Kaaba?

Is it really talking about the Muslim's first quibla anyway, or the one given to the Jews, ect. which they were supposed to abandon for the one in Mecca if the converted to Islam?

I post over on the Islamicity Discussion board, and I had a thread going on about whether to follow the hadith. One gentleman brought up the first quibla of the Muslims that they no longer use (supposedly bowing towards Jerusalem) as proof of the validity of hadith. He said that this first quibla was never given in the Quran and had to be given as a hadith.

I look at the verses in question and am not sure that the Muslim's quibla is being addressed here. I think that the people opposed to Islam had been given a quibla and commanding them to pray toward Mecca was a test to whther they believed Prophet Muhammed or not.

Salam everyone this is first time on this forum , first you have to find the true meaning of qibla
i don't beleave that it means direction ,second why you have to face any perticular direction God is every where. In these ayat Quran is not talking about salat(namaz) and you wont find any aya which tells you that when you do your prayers face towards Kaba or any othere place.
