I read one of the e-books or articles that explains that the Quran allows the consensus of the community (ummah) to decide how certain commands are to be followed given in the Quran, if the command is of a generic nature with no specification telling how that command is to be obeyed.
Can anyone give me that article. e-book, or even some qoutes from the scripture?
