Naked Pope in a Glass House (DRAFT)
-
Hi Magi,
Your remarks seem very inline with the quran.
"The servants of the Almighty are those who tread the earth gently, and when the ignorant speak to them, they only utter peace." (2563)
QXP 2855
(Additionally) whenever they hear vain talk of ridicule, they withdraw from it decently and say, "To us our deeds and to you yours; Peace be upon you, we do not seek to join the ignorant. (2572).Nadeem

Right now all kinds of organisation are doing what they can to provoke the muslims worldwide. And we would all do good to just flat out ignore this kind of nonsense. Greet them with peace, and leave it at that. To me the keyword of the post im writing this in response to is "so called".
Dear Magee
I do not consider Pope as a small player, and comparing him and his institution to a few street demonstrators is utter nonsense. We cannot ignore Pope's remark about islam. Furthermore, Pope did not criticize the so-called Muslims, but falsely attacked the Quran and its prophet Muhammad.
Sure, pope and his supporters expected to provoke Muslims into violence, in order to justify their own accusation and violence. However, with the exception of a few violent reaction, the Muslim world reacted peacefully.
My response is not a reaction that would make pope and his allies happy. My reaction was a proper one and it is necessary.
The Quran does not ignore many of the mushrik's claim against God, His message and messenger. There are indeed many verses addressing them. Thus, I disagree with brother Nadeem regarding the applicability of the verses advising tolerance and silence, in this case. I will not ignore pope, since he has joined his emperors in the USA and UK in their deceptive propaganda and bloody war against islam and the Muslim world. I am not defending the aggression of Muslims, but in this fight, I am trying to raise the voice of the truth and justice for those who can still reflect. You should have been the last people who who would bellittle this voice.
Peace,
Edip -

Dear Edip
why? what is the problem? if we react to his provocation in any way we are saying that we need to defend ourself. I dont need to defend myself against ludicris claims, in fact, i feel elevated above them because i know that truth stands on its own. It is said that it has been made clear from falsehood.
Sure, pope and his supporters expected to provoke Muslims into violence, in order to justify their own accusation and violence. However, with the exception of a few violent reaction, the Muslim world reacted peacefully.
what do you reckon would have happened if the muslims did nothing at all, no reaction what so ever. merely a "thats nice, have a nice day "
My response is not a reaction that would make pope and his allies happy. My reaction was a proper one and it is necessary.
it is a sober one, but its going to make no difference. Their agenda is obvious, and i dont want to play game in their court by their rules.

Im merely telling you what i feel about it, and what i think would do the difference. And i was thinking in the line of what Nadeem presented (thank you) So i will leave it at agreing to disagree.
Peace
