Salam.
In 1992 Serbs attacked Bosniacs in Bosnia in order to exterminate them and they have been waiting to do this since 1945 when they first developed tha plan.
Why this happened, why did The God allow a few Serbs (orthodox Christians) to kill thousands of Muslims in Bosnia is beyond me, i truly don't understand but lately i think i know, i think i have found an answer.Serbs killed Bosniacs because these Bosniacs became friends with erbs, they let their guard down and on the night of the war, they did not prepare unlike Serrbs, no, they said, we'll just open our arms, smile and invite them to a talk.
Serbs just loaded their weapons and started killing them.
Serbs have been oppressing Bosniacs and other non-Serbs pretty much since the Ottoman Empire and we, the Muslims, have become such good friends that we forgot who the real enemy is and the real enemy, in this case the Serbs have become such good actors that you simply could not tell whatw as behind that smile on the faces of Serbs.
What's my point?
We should've declared a muslim state right after WW2. Bosniacs should've said"We want to have a country of our own where The Quran will be The LAW." and we should've said this the moment Hitler killed himself.
Did we?
No.
Our fathers rather said, we're too tired to start another conflict, so we'll just adapt to the new system, we'll just melt in with Slovens, Croats and Serbs in this newly born country - Yugoslavia. It was formed right after WW2 and it was one big chunk of communism from the very beginning.People were not allowed to say salam on the street or pray in public or marry a Serb, because Serbs did not allow marriages of their kids with non-Serbs. They also did not allow non-Serb kids to get ood grades in school or people at work to get promoted if they were Muslims.
The war in Bosnia should've happened in 1946.
We would've won.
We lost in 1995 because we waited 50 years.I guess what i'm trying to say is this always be prepared and do not let anyone walk all over you. Be a soldier who fights all the time. Against oppression, tyranny, bad leaders, communism, injustice, arrogance, devil, Saddam, terrorists, .... etc.

You talk about the danger of world war because of tomes of wisdom while the world has already witnessed two world wars by the mighty wise European nations because they were wiser than the ancient tomes of wisdom. The world can only become a universal brotherhood if it heeds to the balanced teaching of the Prophets. Let no terrorist, by exploiting scriptures deceive you.

And prepare for them all that you can of might, and from the steeds of war, that you may instil fear with it towards God's enemy and your enemy, and others beside them whom you do not know but God knows them. And whatever you spend in the cause of God will be returned to you, and you will not be wronged.
In the same way, we could say that the "muslim" word is in its current state because it has forgotten this verse.
While European countries were experimenting new technologies and developing, the "muslims" countries were stagnating in their traditions, forbidding people to think.
They have let the European become more powerful, with all the consequences we have been observing; colonization, and so one.Peace

I personally believe one of the biggest mistakes the Muslims commited was that they did not march on Europe after they had the upper hand in the crusades and change the hostile governments and dismantle the church that kept feeding the hatred and racism than led to the crusades in the first place. This complacency led to the Europeans who were foaming at the mouth fanatics to circumvent the Middle East and reach the continent of America where they commited great acts of horror and terror slaughtering millions of men women and children while stealing their land and resources.
