Assume that we are able to overthrow the system! For the sake of argument!
Are we then able to put a better system in place?thats the thing, we cant. and we should not even try. What we should do is make an alternative to the system and live under it, and we may have a place where its possible due to the fallacy of their own design. You still think that humanity must be united under a single system. Why should we? we are so different, but we need to allign our purpose. And as long as someone gets to set what these purposes are, people will never realise that there are other options. People has to be shown to belive. And as none of us can make the moon fall into our neighbours backyeard, perhaps what we could do was -like many small communities around the globe- show that we dont need a large government for be united in purpose. The minute another community like this appears on the face of the earth, it is allready alligened in purpose with the rest of them. The purpose being to be productive, non detructive communities without the need for big government, big banking, business and what not. Selfgoverning enclaves with consensus democracy. Sure it takes more time, but in the end its worth it, and nothing is rushed through.
In your image this would be places where the cancer just cannot grow.
There is a place in Holland my freinds just came back from. On some island the oil industry has plastered the whole place with concrete. were talking miles and miles of it, with large oil rigs, except. For a 200 meter wide green area with forrest and an old church where 15 hippies live. The oil giant cant throw them out. So they are a community where the cancer just cannot go.
Humankind is one community, but we are many tribes and nations and this is Gods purpose supposedly. that we are meant to be like that. Small enclaves, small nations, with our differences, and different ideas. And if you dont like it where youre at. Perhaps 100miles down the road is more you, We dont like you any less over that where you came from. Because there is nothing wrong with banding with other enclaves to create mutual projects. As long as its understood that destruction is NOT one of our purposes, that is what we left behind.
In denmark i see such an enclave being fought fiercely by the government. And i know why they view these 800 people as such a threat. They are doing the one thing government fears. They are stating their business setting an example. But the government pressure has made it loose a lot of what it was allready.

THe body dont just have one kind of cells either. To each a purpose. and communities would be much like this i reckon. Like you used to have a fisher tribe, obviously becasue they lived by the sea, and a hunter tribe, a collecter trive etc etc, all depending on what their area provided. And then if enough do this, we can make our own economy running based on our own product these enclaves inbetween. All over the globe. The strength of doing it like this is, for each member of the system that leaves and enter an enclave. We became that much stronger and the system that much weaker. And it wasnt by war or menace. So like the cells, we dont attack, we only defend ourself against intruders.

So what happens then? from the perspective of that What can such a community achieve, let,s sat within 5 00 years? in the sense of the spiritual growth of the habitants? in the sense of their social order? What does such a community have that other nations of the past/ now did not have? What is the the motivation of the people within such a community in the first place? What made them united?
Put some muscles around the bone of this idea!

How about the Quran Alpha, lets organize a community around this and this alone, along with Gods guidance for each individual within this society. There has never been a community yet that has risen that folows this as its guiding principle, without the Shariah based on hadeeths etc. The only way we can build this is outside of the existing system, to create a new system that God willing will grow to counter and prevail over the current secular and Godless society. This may sound like a silly utopia outside the realm of the possible but I believe it can be very real, I think of it alot, I have created many of its institutions already with my imagination, all we need is the people to create an organization with this common goal and the rest will happen naturally, God willing. I even have the land ,economic base, laws, and rights of a nation ready to be used in this endeavor, all we need are a few good people with a passion for God and doing good. This may take along time but I think the idea is worth trying.

Alpha, Kurt put nailed it down. Kurt i will be more than happy to hear more about your ideas. It is good to see that others realise that this seemingly utopia idea is in fact the way to go. but the system we grew up under have made us belive we cant live without it, so that is why it seems to utopic.
The system is even so scared of it, that it propagates against the idea, in movies like "The Beach". Where it ofcourse go horribly horribly wrong for the little group trying to isolate themself from the system they are tired of. And it fights the enclaves that has allready started outside it.Please write me and share youre thoughts. Or even better, share them here Kurt.

Such a community is gonna become a system again! you know why? because its members have EGO.
Why after prophets were gone, their communities vanished!!? you think the other systems contaminated them? No it disintegrated from within.The cancer comes from within! First you need people awakend to their EGO! There is no other way!
and once you come to know your self and see the EGO, you are not going to escape the society anymore, because now you know your responsibility to awaken the others! to themselves!
Did prophet Mohammad escaped the society with his mates? No first the members were made while interacting with the system. The community came afterwards. First spread the message, then the community can start taking shape. Along the way the resisting forces will learn you, what you need to have!
Having such an ideal (The divine society) is divine. Missing it is a prayer. Passing the flame of SELF-KNOWLEDGE is our direct responsibility! Maybe our grand grand grand......... childeren will see it!
BUT THAT IDEAL SHOULS NOT DISTRACT OUR ATTENTION FROM THAT WHICH WE SHOULD CHANGE TODAY! IN HERE AND NOW!

I dont have any illusions of a perfect society. My argument is based on the foundation upon which the system rests, as opposed to making a new foundation on the right principles, and let that grow.
We cannot change this house we are in, because its foundation is completely skewed. Its design is so flawed, that building a new house on it only leads to more of the same. As has been the cycle, for a fair amount of time now, regardless of warnings, and warners comming. We must make a new foundation, for the house generations after us will build.
All the prophets were dealing with local conflicts. and there is a great example in that, and the example itself is that it should be local conflicts, as oppsed to world conflict and manipulation. We are dealing with something that know makes itself known as "The New World Order". The messenger found his followers in his close community, before the advent of mind altering chemicals, shit for food, and a daily dose of effective brainwashing through media, Through symbol all around us. Our brains are in constant overdrive processing all the signals we recieve today, just walking down the street in a large city. In other words, people back then was far better fitted, for thinking really hard about something. I think this is altso the reason why certain 'elements' are not the least bit impressed with the constructs we call UN, NATO etc. Because they dont see the construct, the illusion, they see people. They are conditioned, but in another way than we have been.
Any of us will find it hard to find just few people in their local community that are aware of things, or even care. So a global system, has breed a global population of believers from various creeds, and we are scattered all over, rather than connected through our own system. A believers system. The advent of the internet has given us a chance to meet eachother.

Nice to have someone like you to show us the other side of the coin. A community is resiliant if everybody can manifest her own uniqueness. So keep on going showing your vision my friend. That is your responsibility and your call, even if it is difficult and even if others likeme react like a deaf to you. You are doing what you should do.

The influenza virus has met it's match! Supercells kicking arse!
I find myself agreeing wholeheartedly with both arguments. As alpha said, change comes from within. And I believe that as living examples, we can change those close around us after changing ourselves, and this can increase exponentially through time, efficiently infecting and destroying the system from the inside out.
At the same time, while being in the system, it is very, very difficult to see the forest from the trees because of information overload. We are rats in a cage - or more precisely, rats on amphetamines in a cage. Eevryone is so busy working to try to build the "dream", that there's not much time left to ponder and work on self-actualization. You may catch someone on a coffee break and he/she may converse and understand and get all worked up, but 5 minutes later, it's time to get back to work to get that check to pay for that mortgage, student loan, car payment, Christmas shopping, etc, etc.
I've said all along that the most free people in America are the homeless and college students. Everone else is being indoctrinated heavily or indoctrinating others, unkowingly.
The times dictate that any culture trying to flourish from outside the system has, looming in the background, the ultimate consequence of being labeled a terrorst organization. Next, comes the bunker busters and the freezing of assets and destroying of algriculture, etc.
Therefore, I feel at this point that the change will require a 2-pronged strategy. One from within, and one from without - each supporting the other. It will require good, savvy people to climb the ranks and work within the system, greasing any palms along the way, in order to alter the light that shines on the society that is being built outside of the system.
I have more details in mind but just wanted to bounce the basic premise off of you all.
