Can we see the timeline from Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, just by reading The Quran?
Where did they live, how long ago, stuff like that?
I've been researching but there are sooooo many articles out there.

For me. the time line is less important than the message. Meaning, the message in the story out weighs if it happened at all or not. It's like the hadiths. The research we do outside of the Quran may or may not be tainted. It's the message that the stories in the Quran contain that are worth the most.

Well, i was asking because i always wanted to make a movie about Islam, you know, in a way of showing the timeline.
I don't know, maybe some day i will, inshaAllah, .....

Insha-Allah! I would love to see something like that. I believe there is a time line of sorts. Abul Yusif Ali in his translation and commentary says something to the effect that the Quran stands alone and I imagine it's in the same way i described it above. Also, he adds that it confirms what the "people of the book" already know. So I imagine the time line that we are used to, as an example.. Moses.. Jesus.. Muhammad... is correct etc..
