that is a pagan calendar,i dont even know what happened year 0...they say "jesus" birth,but some researchers say he was born 6 BC...strange.
orthodox churches know his bday is on 6 january,and some say 14 may.
christmas is "yule", and birth of nimrod.

No offence, but do we even celebrate new year? And what's happy about it? There are more casaulties in Iraq, Somalia is starting with a war of its own, sunnis will be outraged by the death of Saddam, more tsunamis are on their way, air is pulluted, ice is melting, schools are loaded with potential killers and women still receive less money for the same jobs as men.
I can't be with my loved one and people around me are commiting fornication.
I don't see the good side of the year 2007.

I agree with you that there is alot to be worried about. But i advise you to find the positive in your life and in the lives of the others your heart aches for in order to keep yourself in good shape. If you are down, then you can't help them in any way. Then they'll have no one. So number 1 is to be sure you are in good health and spirit, brother. Then you'll be able to do something for others. )
My New Year's Resolution is to give more to Africa. I just hope the right people receive what i am able to give.. ya rab. -
