The "platypus" in my opinion is a clear example of MACRO evolution

Anyone whos read my posts from last year on the forum may know that i used to be a strong denier of macro evolution BUT even back then the platypus always let some questions remain in my mind. I requested bro "andya primanda" to give me an example of an intermediate form alive today. This creature clearly seems to be an intermediate sharing both reptilian and mammal and even birdlike properties It has a duck like beak and although it feeds its young with milk IT LAYS EGGS. Clearly these are mixed features. I believe the platypus may not last for long. It may need to stbilize in one direction. Sooner or later we may see punctual equllibrium and then the emergence of a new creature. This creature needs to be monitored closely. Your opinions please. GOD Bless! -

I need to make a correction here. The platypus does NOT share birdlike features. Although the shape of the bill is much the same as that of certain birds, possibly due to convergent evolution, it is made of an entirely different substance and is SOFT nlike the hard keratin bills in birds which have them. Infact if the platypus had a beak made of keratin it would pose a problem to evoltuionary biology since mammals are not upposed to sare these distinct bird features. The rest is fine. GOD Bless!
