Stellar Evolution

Peace,
I still remember when i sued to favor Dr. Kent Hovind regarding "creationism". First he says that one cannot fuse past irron. Well sure we as humans in the lab cannot do that but that doesnt mean it cant happen in outer space. Another one the claims of young earth creationists is that "uranium could not have evolved from hydrogen". Kent said that scienstists say one gets the higher elements with fusion in stars so which came first, the stars or the elements, the chicken and the egg problem, as he calls it. Now i realize how incredibly stupid these remarks of "creationists" are. Ofcourse the elements evolved, first to form stars and then onto higher elements. There is no chickcen and egg problem whtsoever. The stars came first, as hydrogen atoms enter a lower enthropy state from their originally high one, ultimately fusing, creating a lot of energy and a new element helium. Once we have enough such connections of atoms i.e. basic star formation complete, then it goes on to higher elements. The entire process is detailed here
