What exactly is reverse osmosis process ?
I'm just curious because i have never heard of it and would like to stay informed.Peace. jedi

This process is best known for its use in desalination (removing the salt from sea water to get fresh water) and has been used in this way since the early 1970s.

Reverse osmosis is the most common method of desalination, although 85 percent of desalinated water is produced in multistage flash plants. Large reverse osmosis and multistage flash desalination plants are used in the Middle East, especially Saudi Arabia. The energy requirements of the plants are large, but electricity can be produced relatively cheaply with the abundant oil reserves in the region.
In short, Zam Zam is no fresh water coming out from a well, it is sea water desalinated through the process of reverse osmosis. Thats why it tastes kind of funny! Also, the healing properties of sea salt are well documented.

JK- This stuff is related to homeopathy where energy is tranferred to water while the oriinal substance remains out. If you really believe and have proof for your claims you might as well go to James Randi(randi.org) and claim the million dollar price as he has debunked all such silly notions until now. GOD Bless!

I don't think the water is actually not water anymore if that's what you mean. and i don't know who james randi is but there is something more than science. not everything can be explained away with the knowledge we have as of 2007. the transmission of positive energy has been studied with numerous studies using plants and music, and the shape water molecule structures. check out emoto's work.

JK- First of all if you believe in water acquiring certain energies in case of homeopathy then you can bring along the claimants and theyll recieve a million USD. Randi has made it very easy. All he asks is to sort out the homeopathic water from the non homeopathic(tell which is which) one and you win. As in regards to music yes that is trnasmitted by molecules touches out ears and those signals are then trnamitted to the brain. Depending on the evolution of the being which receives the sound waves the brain will process them and if certain areas in it are stimulated the being will feel pleasreu. Infact harmocic music has been shown to stimulate the same pleasure regions in the brain as drugs thus causing a type of euphoria but which is not harmful. This however has nothing to do with water sayving crtain energies inside it with which we can cure diseases. Otherwise those who claim this should not hesitate to take the challenge, earn aot of money in a very short time and be world famous. GOD Bless!

The God is the source of all healing and spiritual power, not some water. We should believe and trust in The God instead of idolizing some water or stone. The God doesn't mention anything about some "holy" water near albayt anywhere in al-qur'aan. The responsible people take sea water and purify it through reverse osmosis and then deceive millions into believing that it is some "holy" water; this shows just how gullible people can be and instead of using their God given mind, reason, and logic, they fall prey to their superstitions and conjectures, which is an age old malady.
The power of suggestion, biofeedback and mind over matter has been scientifically proven, and despite that knowledge available to us, it is inexcusable to continue living in the dark ages of mythology. Positive thought is essential to producing positive results. Negative thoughts and emotions lower the immune system, while positive thought and emotions actually boost the immune system.

It is amazing that so many people believe that Zam Zam water has a Miraculous Healing Power in It.
the First Time I went to Mecca in 1994 , I too, believed in the Magical Zam Zam . At the time I was abusing chemical substances and my Folks being a Good Sunni ( wahabi ) family with good Intentions, decided to take me along to the Holy land in Order to Cure me from My addiction . They firmly believed that, a Dayly Diet of Zam Zam Water and dates as well some Roasted camel meat will do the Trick .Anyway , prior to leaving for Jeddah , I was prescribed Rohypnol Tablets to help me cope with the Withdrawal Symptoms and my physician advised me to take it with me where-ever I go ( good advice ) . Unfortunately, one of my brothers who came with us , Talked me out of Taking any Medication to Mecca as he Believes 100% that I would be cured just by being in the Holy Land and by Drinking Zam Zam Water every day brickwall
To cut the story short, It was to no avail, we spent 42 days in Mecca and Medina , 16 days of that I spent in the hospital with IntraVenous Tubes stuck up both arms plus heart monitor . so much for the Zam Zam Magic oAs Brother Tanveer pointed out, Zam Zam water is From Reverse Osmosis and it has a distinc taste which to me felt like the After taste clinging to the roof of the mouth . eventhough took many showers at the Zam Zam water Depot, I did not get Cured from my then addiction . But at least that experience lead me to God only / Quran Muslim. The water obtained through Reverse Osmosis then allowed the Unsuspecting Muslims to believe That IT is a Special water, imho it is a Crime. Unfortunately, the Saudis kept silence when it comes to Miraculous Zam Zam water . Instead of Informing the Ummah that Zam zam is just a water like any other, the Saudis allowed this Deception to continue by their silence.
I have since gone back to Mecca and Medina as an Individual Hajj just to Verify what I had learnt from the Quran regarding haj and Kaaba in 1994. also found out about The Reverse Osmosis Water . friends who have been living in Saudi informed that there are to Kinds of Desalinated Water, The One we Use for Ablution, bath etc which is a direct Desalinated Sea Water , whilst the other Is the Zam Zam which is also Desalinated Sea Water but Put Back into the Underground Reservoirs and Drawn back Up on the First In First out Basis . Good pts but ive to comment on one claim of yours...mind over matter...
JK- "Mind over matter" is usually taken as a paranormal phenomenon and if taken as such is clear nonsense. Moreover the mind itself is comprised of ?nnections of molecules and atoms i.e. matter again. But if it what is meant was that once mwtter combines in a certain way so that it is able to control other loose or less complexly combined matter then the deinition will be correct. GOD Bless!
