Will we turn into Lobsters?

peaceLobsters don't die naturally. They have to be killed.
Scientists are studying what chemical (or whatever) causes this. Then it'll make it's way into our bodies as an instant immortality drug. This is just one example of the many fields of scientific study that are creeping me out. There are the don't-sleep-ever-again drugs which are being tested. And now parents can choose the gender of their children. They are developing micro chips (no relation to potato chips) that can boost brain power and muscle strength and what not. I won't even get into the weapons.
They've already done enough harm, I think. Although this sounds cold and evil (and I may be wrong about this), medicine has done more harm than good to human kind and the planet. We are over populating the earth and destroying it because we aren't dying fast enough.
What will become of us?JK- Whilst i agree that allopathic medicine may do more harm if taken more often than necessary and i believe it will ultimately be over run through stem cell research and sound frequency therapy, it is the best we have at this moment and as long as derived from natural plants etc it can be useful. Problems begin to get more severe when one tries to chemically force atoms to bond in an unnatural way to get momentarily apparent quicker results. An example of such would be heroin, a substance on which there has been a restriction now. Morphine is the last one could use to sedate the pain of cancer patients. The lobster stuff seems natural and therefore if theres a way to take something from it and give it to humans i dont see any problems. I do see problems however with trying to implant microchips into the body and once the stem cell research is advanced enough replacing original parts of our bodies, we wont need that. Your last stament is nonsense since we wont sty here on earth. Why do you think James Randi, myself and many others wanna go into outer space? I dont believe its in our destiny to stay on this tiny planet. GOD didnt create everything out there in vain. It is for us to explore and once wer out there wed have practically infinite material to survive with and thered be no need, NO NEED AT ALL to even think of reducing the population. Such were the thoughts of Hitler who were too lazy to advance in technology and just have the tiny world for themslves. GOD Bless!

So then we aren't really mammals. We ARE a virus. We occupy a planet, destroy everything in it, then move onto another one. We are destroying God's creation, you find no problem with that?
It's a fair argument to say that because of our past mistakes, we probably won't be able to save this planet and thus need to move out. But saying that it is our destiny to destroy this planet is nonsense, IMO. The world doesn't revolve around humans. Everything isn't made for us to devour. We need to stop trying to become immortal. Death is part of life. It is part of the natural cycle. We can take everything that we can naturally, but we shouldn't try to manipulate nature for our superficial benefits.
If we do end up like lobsters, unable to die of natural causes, then what will kill us? we don't have any predators. At least on this planet. And you said that earth is a tiny planet. Well, you should know that it is the earth's particular size, among other things, that make life possible here. If it was any larger, it would be too close to the sun, too hot, too much gravity, too many heavy gases in our atmosphere. If it was any smaller...you get the point.
So you can see that it is very hard to find a planet that has the same or similar qualities as earth. We don't even know if we'll ever find another home. Even if we do, I dont' even want to know the havoc that would create on earth. No one will want to be left behind on this rotten earth. And you can be sure that NASA won't build spaceships for everyone. All this IF we find a planet soon. If we don't, then it'll be too late for the human race. We will have committed a slow, painful, horrible suicide, and taken everything else with us to the grave.http//www.threeleggedlegs.com/view/?what=humans
if this is what you want, then God bless you.

Infact there are many scientific oriented organisations who take care of the planet. Infact i meant that wed leave this planet earth alone AND WONT BE A BURDEN FOR IT ANYMORE. Whilst wer in outer space nature on earth can take its course without human intervention.

JK- Explained above.
At least on this planet.JK- If it is in GOD's Will that future humans would live until the entire universe is destroyed then it will be so and if science progresses the way it is this would probably be the most likely prediction.

JK- As for the earth ebing the only planet supporting life this is highly unlikely from a scientific point of view and also the Quran says
Among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the creatures(daaba) He spreads IN THEM. He is able to summon them, when He wills.
So one can see that from both perspectives it is highly likely that in this vast universe or yet parallel universes there are other earth like planets with living cretaures spread in them.
Secondly as to the phrase in bold enough ill say it once again the NASA wants people who think rationall, just like Randi, they want YOU but not if your superstitious and wanting to go back into the cave. We all need to adapt the scientific method and once we have well develop self replicating micro robots which then would very easily once the formula is known MASS PRODUCE spaceships from outer space materials so even if we are to be zillions in number, each one of us could own a whole space ship for themselves. Ever thought about that? GOD Bless! -

so we become a burden on some other planet?
The fact remains that the way we are living, we will always destroy everything around us. We need to change ourselves. We need to fix our problems. And one of those problems is harmful technology.Secondly as to the phrase in bold enough ill say it once again the NASA wants people who think rationall, just like Randi, they want YOU but not if your superstitious and wanting to go back into the cave. what? confused not only do you have no idea about what you are saying, you don't know whether it'll ever happen.
I'll take the cave, thank you. -

Sorry to break it to you, but it is our destiny... we were all born here and that's where we're going to die.http//www.counterbalance.net/media/earthrise.jpg

Peace "phoenix",
so we become a burden on some other planet?
The fact remains that the way we are living, we will always destroy everything around us. We need to change ourselves. We need to fix our problems. And one of those problems is harmful technologyJK- Yes we need to change ourselves. We need to get out of our caves and stop all sorts of superstition. And your right but the keyword is HARMFUL. So we need to use clean technology and thats exactly where the research is heading these days. Wer thinking of how to rid the very harmful nuclear power stations and replace them with solar cells and windmills. Infact if we could make a solar plate 90% efficient and furthermore achieve a squaremeter of a solar cell to convert a max of 1MW of energy, most of our probs would be solved. The sun's energy would be cought via a space satellite which turns it into a laser thus concentrating/focusing it exactly on the 1 sqm solar plate. Again all of this is science and advancement.
.what? confused not only do you have no idea about what you are saying, you don't know whether it'll ever happen.
I'll take the cave, thank you.JK- Itll happen GW, but itll not happen if people remain superstitious, practice pseudoscience and beleive in all kinds of nonsense. In space everyone would have enough material. We dont even need to and wont take any resources from a single planet thus destryoing it. Everyone would have enough on his spaceship where he could plant numerous fruits, plants, cattle, fish, fowl, even explore new ones which might exist on other planets, scan all of it thoroughly to make sure the chemical combination is suitable for his body and then enjoy it. GOD Bless!

There's no place like home. )JK- Oh yes thereis, outer space is much more exciting then stying here on earth forever and it is not our destiny to stay here as we can see people have already gone to the moon and also have built a whole station in space of which in the future we could see exponentially more. The Quran mentions
O you jinn and humans, if you can penetrate the outer limits of the heavens and the earth, go ahead and penetrate. You cannot penetrate without authorization.
This verse indicates that it is GOD's Will that wed not only be permitted to go into outer space but even paralell universes by His permission. Ofcourse the 2nd sentence above indicates that superstitious people wont make it. GOD Bless! -
We need to get it together before we think of ruining more out there, we can't even take care of our own backyard let alone the moon or mars.

Peace sis "savagecarrot",
We need to get it together before we think of ruining more out there, we can't even take care of our own backyard let alone the moon or mars.
JK- Yes we cant because many of us are still superstitious and dont wanna contribute to science. Once we have those micro robots GW everything would be taken care off. GOD Bless!
