I am still learning

I came across this site in the course of my doing research on Islam. I was born in a strict Sunni family and raised as a Sunni Muslim. I eventually rejected that faith and become an atheist. I am not so sure about what I am anymore, although I would say that agnostic Muslim would describe me.
I'm going through a tough time because of all this new information and I am undergoing a strained and difficult argument with my brother about what is true Islam. Judging from his reaction, it seems to me that the rest of my family is going to be hostile to my views after I tell them about it. It was much easier to be an atheist and remain shut about my views. ?
It is simply amazing how much information of different sorts is out there on the Internet. It was completely random that I came across Quran alone information, although it seems to be most logically consistent with the rest of the message in the Quran and I'm happy that I've learnt about it.
I ask you all to be patient with me if I post anything offensive and to correct me if I post anything that is incorrect or misleading. I am very much at a learning stage and plan to remain at that stage till I die.
