    RasulHamsa, what is your damage,
flashing some beautiful fonts writing Allaho Akbar does not mean anything.
Show a single Ayat in The Quran where Allah uses Allaho Akbar...
    ?
    Peace

PS I am not saying not to use it, Allah is Grater indeed of any and everything, just not use Allah's name in vain on what are after all interpretations!!!

I agree with you brother, I just liked that calligraphy very much...

    peace

      Peace Raj-ah

Raj-ah This clearly indicates that Quranic Kaaba is the same that is in Makkah because these above named dieties were to be found only in Makkah.

The Nabataean pantheon mentioned above were worshipped in temples all over the Nabataean kingdom. Petra was the central city of the Nabataean Kingdom.

You mentioned in a previous post Qiblah is Kaaba and then Mecca. The Quraan says it is Masjidul Haram. Even then there is no mention of Salat in verses 2140 to 152 the principle verses on this subject of qiblah . The verses never say turn towards or face Masjidal Haram (or Kaaaba or mecca, according to you) for the salat. I find a mix up of Kaaba, House and Masjid ul Haram by you and by many of the traditional explanations.

Tanveer in correct in insisting it is not ?raise the foundation of the house? but ?raise the foundation from the house? in the verse.

The ?bakkata? and ?makkata? are not the same. ( I have read all you explanations on this)

There is no mention in the Quraan that the ?House? or Al Masjidal Haram is in mecca and that mecca is a city in S.A. Also the word makkata in the verse is debatable.

There is no connection in the Quraan between the ?House? and ?Al Masjid Al Haram?.

Mecca is not the only uncultivated valley. The ?House? was in the same ?uncultivable valley? or the ?uncultivable valley? was near the House?

        Nabster

        Raj-ah
Why do you feel you need to intimidate members of this board with your scholastic "expertise"?
Your name calling does not befit a believer either, and do not think that appending Allaho Akbar at the end of each of your "enlightened" conclusions is going to add to the credibility of your explanations.
In fact there is no mention of Allaho Akbar in The Quran, let alone that it be used when someone is religiously "extatic", plus it associates you with certain (violent) groups who are not doing Islam's reputation any good, in fact Allah is fighting them day and night for their extremism...
        Peace
        Noble

What is the best example of hypocricy that could be find is in your above paragraph.
Accusing me of intimidating members of the board and name calling, and them doing the same. Well done hail

Your being allergic to Allah Ho Akbar can be understood, from your previous posts, If in english I say Allah is Great, you seem to have no problem but if I say Allah Ho Akbar in Arabic all sorts of problems seem to arise for you, but it is not you who I have to please IT IS ALLAH and
Allah Ho Akbar being associated with violent group theory is just Pathetic as your whole post is.

        ALLAH HO AKBAR!

Yes I mentioned that Kaaba is the Qibla for Muslims

We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens now shall We turn thee to a Qiblah that shall please thee. Turn then thy face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction."

Offcourse it pleases Muhammad that Kaaba which is in Makkah and which is also his birth place to be focal point for all the Muslims and which was built by his ancestors. This is just natrual.
Masjid _ul- haram is around Kaaba. The mosque was built around the original Kaaba.
I could not got your point regarding no mention of SALAT in the verses you mentioned, will you explain it further?

            Salaam Rajah

The verse you mentioned does not have Kaaba or House in it. It says Al Masjid al Haram.
I will not translate it as ?sacred mosque?.

Does the Quraan tell that the ground/land around the cubic stone structure in Mecca is the al masjid al haram. The mosque area around this cube has been expanding many folds from its original position for many years acquiring the buildings, houses and hotels in the neighborhood. Do you think all this increased expanded area will constitute al masid al Haram. Also that we should stand facing to all this expanded area whenever and wherever we are doing salat ? When the Quraan does not say face the Kaaba why should we face it during salat or at any other time?

Your opinion which is the traditional one has too many contradictions to the Quraan.

                peace rajah,

rajah- And YEs BY CALLING QURAN AMBIGIOUS I think you just ended up BEING A HYPOCRITE (sorry to say)
                the Ayat 37 says

                Let's see the reality

                you wrote
RAJAH-Instead of providing any proof/evidence that goes in your favor You again started asking me questions? ignoring all the Historical evidences I provided.

                my reply was
AGENT- Historical Evidences? AMBIGUOUS VERSES are not historical evidences bro, they are interpretations based on assumptions.

                you wrote
RAJAH- WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY AMBIGUOUS VERSES?? and all those researchers research work is just a crap which i noted??

                Hail to you then!!!!

Now you have changed ambiguous verses to ambiguous Quran?

Rajah Sahib what would you call someone who falsely accuse others by misquoting what they had ACTUALLY said?
You also misquoted sis samia on page22?her response was?. Now do not misquote me.

And now you misquote me and on that basis declared me a HYPOCRITE bravo ?.do I care ?.absolutely not, because Allah says

Have you not considered those who attribute purity to themselves? Nay, Allah purifies whom He pleases; and they shall not be wronged the husk of a date stone. 449.

Invite to the Way of thy Lord WITH WISDOM and beautiful preaching; and ARGUE WITH THEM IN WAYS THAT ARE BEST and MOST GRACIOUS for THY LORD KNOWS BEST, WHO HAVE STRAYED FROM HIS PATH, and WHO RECEIVE GUIDANCE. 16125.

rajah-In its narrow meaning, "mutashabih" refers to all verses which can be understood in more than one ways. This includes all kind of allegories. The various meaning or implication of the same words require SOME QUALITIES IN THE AUDIENCE ATTENTIVE MIND, POSITIVE ATTITUDE, CONTEXTUAL PERSPECTIVE, and PATIENCE FOR RESEARCH

QUALITIES IN THE AUDIENCE ATTENTIVE MIND
The above misquotes are a good example of ?Qualities/attentive mind.
THE QUALITIES TO MISQUOTE AND PASS A FATWA without any authority.

                POSITIVE ATTITUDE
Not even once in all you posts have you addressed anyone with peace salutations.
Please don?t tell me that positive attitude means accusing others of straying away from the straight path as conceived by you.

                CONTEXTUAL PERSPECTIVE.
                Based on traditions/ambiguity/assumptions.

                PATIENCE FOR RESEARCH
                Research as above....Patience?? confused

Rajah-The intention of those who try to understand the multiple-meaning verses is important. WITH THE DISEASE IN THEIR HEARTS, THEY TRY TO CONFUSE OTHERS BY FOCUSING ON MULTIPLE MEANING VERSES.

That is what you are trying to do bro by focusing on multiple meaning verses instead of fundamental verses that are foundation of alkitab.

He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book 3 7.

Rajah-Since only sincere believers possess the quality to understand the Quran (1746; 1857; 5417), hypocrites will not be able to find the true meaning of multiple-meaning words.

Sincere believers?..that is an argument presented by those who can?t convince others by logic and clear Quranic verses so in the end they blame it on the sincerity of the other person?s belief, rather then blaming themselves for the lack of clear evidence/proofs to convince others

Only sincere believers can discover the importance of passing through the BAHISHTI DARWAZA at pakpattan to SANCTIFY.

Only sincere believers can understand the holiness and advantages of visiting the 1000s of shrines in the subcontinents, Arab world, Iran??..what a convenient answer. SINCERE BELIEVER??.it is only for the lord of the Day of Judgment to decide who is a sincere believer

And you quote 1746, 1857, 5417 out of context to validate you statement.

When thou dost recite the Qur'an, We put, between thee and those WHO BELIEVE NOT IN THE HEREAFTER, a veil invisible 1745.
And We put coverings over their hearts (and minds) lest they should UNDERSTAND THE QUR'AN, and deafness into their ears WHEN THOU DOST COMMEMORATE THY LORD AND HIM ALONE IN THE QUR'AN, they turn on their backs, fleeing (from the Truth). 1746

Where in this verse does Allah says that the hypocrites will not be able to find the true meaning of multiple-meaning words.

This verse is talking about QURAN and ALLAH and not about the ambiguous verses or kaaba.

                peace

                  Peace Rajah,

Rajah- To be a "believer" is a sufficient condition to beleive all the verses. However, one needs to have deep knowledge of the Quran in order to understand "mutashabih" (multiple meaning) verses accurately.
Therefore, 37 mentions a narrow category (those who deeply rooted in knowledge) in relation with those multiple meaning verses.

I can see this deep rooted knowledge of presenting ambiguous verses of narrow category, so conveniently used by you as a support my dear Rajah sahib.

                  Quote
NO ONE SHOULD BE DOGMATIC, as THE FINAL MEANING IS KNOWN TO ALLAH ALONE

rajah-Oh! so we have a Mullah agentxxx now, a good shift, if the final meaning is known by Allah then we should leave it to Allah, what is the all fuss about, why are you and few others trying distorting historical and religous facts.

This was the commentary of YOUSAF ALI on verse 37?.not my comments and I agree with it.

And follow the best that has been revealed to you from your Lord before there comes to you the punishment all of a sudden while you do not even perceive; 3955.

The best in 3955 is not the ambiguous verses but the one which are fundamental.

*He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book 3 7.
                  *and others are ALLEGORICAL
*then as for those in whose hearts there is perversity they follow the part of it WHICH IS ALLEGORICAL, seeking to mislead and SEEKING TO GIVE IT (THEIR OWN) INTERPRETATION.
*But none knows its interpretation except Allah, and those who are firmly rooted in knowledge. 3 7.

The verse says NONE KNOWS ITS INTERPRETATION EXCEPT ALLAH.
and THOSE WHO ARE FIRMLY ROOTED IN KNOWLEDGE.

Who are these people who are firmly rooted in knowledge?
Are you???.for many you might qualify but others will disagree?for some even I might qualify for this category, but I am not and a lot of people will disagree?A Sunni will always find a Sunni scholar, a shia will find a shia scholar only qualifying for this category?..so again it one?s own understanding and perspective that can never be 100% right.

So in fact only Allah knows the true meanings of these ambiguous verses.

                  1. Supremely exalted is therefore Allah, the King, the Truth, and do not make haste with the Quran before its revelation is made complete to you and say O MY LORD ! INCREASE ME IN KNOWLEDGE.

Even prophet Mohammad is advised to pray for increase in knowledge.

Rajah- That is very important dear friend, becuase by knowing where the Quran was revealed and to whom Quran was revealed we can arrive at who built the Kaaba that is in Mecca?

Oh thank you for calling me dear friend probably for the first time in this thread yay.

rajah- Quran was revealed in Arabic and to Arabs, THEREFORE THEY ARE THE NATION WHICH HAS BEEN GIVEN IMPORTANCE BY ALLAH TO LEAD THE WORLD IN FUTURE weather yOU, AYMAN or anyone likes it or not!

Again you make claims that you don?t have any evidence from quran to support.

O mankind! Lo! We have created you male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that ye may know one another. Lo! THE NOBLEST OF YOU, IN THE SIGHT OF ALLAH, IS THE BEST IN CONDUCT. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware. 4913.

Rajah-I THINK YOU DONOT READ the posts of opposing party, and just keep on bringing out what is in your mind from here and there.

You have the right to think what ever suits you
Tell me bro why is that what I post is from "here and there" but what you post is "the divine law" hail

rajah- I have given you some verses from Bible indicating that they praised Allah while facing Makkah.

Makkah????????? just your own interpretation and the understanding of the verses of bible

What about the verses I posted? Were they not from Quran and bible?
Anyway the Muslims returned this good gesture by initially praying towards Jerusalem. handshake

rajah-Come on you are just clutching the straws now.

You said the same to sis samia too?.your favorite quote maybe ;D
Rajah to sis samia -From experience I have learnt that when arguments become weak, we try to pull out straws,

Agent Xxx- Yes you may have answered five questions?but are they ration answers??..NO

Rajah-Right-Well that is not for you to decide.

Ok agreed, it should be for the others to decide.

Rajah- I would loved to be engaged with Tanveer on this topic but due to some unknown reasons he did not responded

He is a wise guy and I should have learned from him that there is no point in discussion with those who are so damn sure that only they are the one?s who know every thing and only they are the one?s on the right path.

Rajah- therefore you were the only choice.

                  My bad luck http//www.coolsmilies.net/sad/sad4.gif

Rajah-You have denied the word of ALLAH on various occassions like ayman

not the world of "ALLAH" but your interpretations of the words of Allah
If I am wrong in my concept, I will be answerable to the lord for that and not you.

Say You will not be questioned as to what we are guilty of, nor shall we be questioned as to what you do. 3425.
Say Our Lord will gather us together, then will He judge between us with the truth; and He is the greatest Judge, the All-knowing. 3426.

                  rajah- for example here

                  Rajah
                  Quote
Where is the House of Allah located??

                  Agentxxx
                  Quote
If I knew positively where it was?.I wouldn?t be discussing it.
So my answer is ?It could be anywhere?.

The term ?God?s House? or baytul-lah does not exist anywhere in the Quran. If this idea is so central to the Muslims, how is it that it escapes mention in the Quran.

And God, the Lord of the Universe doesn?t live in a tiny 627 square foot hollow rock cube in Mecca.

                  peace

I am tired of this issue, so let me write this
There is no mention of the word Ka'aba in The Quran, so there is no point discussing Ka'aba.
If I had it my way, and knew they will not re-build it straight-away I will disintegrate it with a Tomahawk missile and bring it back to the dust it came from...
Another thing, since that black stone is from a meteorite (supposedly coming from Paradise), lets get a fragment and analyze it, surely if that were true, it will show up amazing compounds unknown to Man, or at least that it is indeed a meteorite fragment...
Finally, the fierce Mongols destroyed Baghdad and the surrounding areas and decimated the Abbaside Empire for a very good reason, and that is all these fabrications they built up and to which the Islamic Community has fallen the victim of since then.

                        Peace bro agentxxx,

I think this verse is interesting to understand what does it mean that "no warner has come to us/them".....what do you think about this

O people of the scripture, our messenger has come to you, to explain things to you, after a period of time without messengers, lest you say, "We did not receive any preacher or warner." A preacher and warner has now come to you. GOD is Omnipotent.

                        Salaams

                        peace

                        peace RH,

the verse you posted in addressing the people of the book and it says "our messenger has come to you, to explain things to you, after a period of time without messengers

                        here are the other three

                        AL-QASAS (THE STORY, STORIES)
2846. And you were not on this side of the mountain when We called, but a mercy from your Lord that YOU MAY WARN A PEOPLE TO WHOM NO WARNER CAME BEFORE YOU, that they may be mindful.

                        AS-SAJDA (THE PROSTRATION,WORSHIP, ADORATION)
                        Alif Lam Mim. 32 1.
The revelation of the Book, there is no doubt in it, is from the Lord of the worlds. 32 2.
Or do they say He has forged it? Nay! it is the truth from your Lord THAT YOU MAY WARN A PEOPLE TO WHOM NO WARNER HAS COME BEFORE YOU, that THEY MAY FOLLOW THE RIGHT DIRECTION. 32 3.

                        YA-SEEN (YA-SEEN)
                        Ya Seen. 36 1.
I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 36 2.
Most surely you are one of the messengers 36 3.
                        On a right way. 36 4
A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 36 5.
THAT YOU MAY WARN A PEOPLE WHOSE FATHERS WERE NOT WARNED, so they are heedless. 36 6.

these verses says "no warner came to warn the people before Mohammad and even their forefathers were not warned".

                          Nabster

                          Raj-ah,
You just confirmed to me that you are an extremist stubborn, one-dimensional, intolerant, and abusive...
and what is this about using words in Arabic, we are writing in English, right?
                          Allah is the Greatest indeed...

No comments regarding words in Red as the depict one's intellectual position. But regarding YEllow, I will Just translate it in Arabic "ALLAH HO AKBAR".

Many have tried this, one of them was "Ibraha" and you are surely from his generation, but instead of KAABA being dust they became dust and so will YOU. There is no restriction on dreaming.
I will just like to post what a poet had to say regarding this

O Allah! Surely a man defends his own home, therefore, Thou shouldst protect Thy Own House. Their cross and their wrath can never overcome Thy wrath. O Allah, help Thy Own people against the fellows of the cross and its worshippers).

Another thing, since that black stone is from a meteorite (supposedly coming from Paradise), lets get a fragment and analyze it, surely if that were true, it will show up amazing compounds unknown to Man, or at least that it is indeed a meteorite fragment...

Black stone has no importance as it is not mentioned in Quran and I have quoted from Mauta a HAdith regarding this stone, which further makes its importance lesser.

Finally, the fierce Mongols destroyed Baghdad and the surrounding areas and decimated the Abbaside Empire for a very good reason, and that is all these fabrications they built up and to which the Islamic Community has fallen the victim of since then.

You are not even good student of history lets keep aside Religon, From generations of these Mongols Allah raised many fierce figures who defended KAABA the house of Allah.

An now super finally, Mufti Raj-ah, go and crawl under a cube shaped stone...

Surah Aal-Imran 97 ?Hajj to the House is a duty that mankind owes to Allah for those who can afford the journey?

And I will take Allah's word for that, and not of a person who impressed by Jewish and Christian missionaries propoganda is ready to destroy the HOUSE OF ALLAH BY TOMHAWK MISSILE.

                              Warner

The ?bakkata? and ?makkata? are not the same. ( I have read all you explanations on this)

dear warner, I think you are so impressed by ayman and Co.'s propoganda (the number of whom can be counted on fingures) that you just don't want to open up your eyes to the real life. Encyclopedia Britanica is one prestigious organization who only enters any entry or article on its pages which are Scholary and have enough evidences
let us see what does it has to say

Arabic Makkah, ancient Bakkah or Macoraba city, western Saudi Arabia, located in the Sirat Mountains, inland from the Red Sea coast. It is the holiest of Muslim cities

Now if you think you have enough contra evidence for this and think MAkkah and Bakkah are two seperate places, it is easy; forward it to diffrent WOrld wide bodies who keep the record and tell them to correct what they have, but how will this happen??
By the article of ayman? who even this sites says is controversial article.

                              Warner

The verse you mentioned does not have Kaaba or House in it. It says Al Masjid al Haram.
I will not translate it as ?sacred mosque?.

So how will you translate it??

                              warner

Your opinion which is the traditional one has too many contradictions to the Quraan.

No not to Quran; but the interpretations by you.

                              warner

The mosque area around this cube has been expanding many folds from its original position for many years acquiring the buildings, houses and hotels in the neighborhood. Do you think all this increased expanded area will constitute al masid al Haram.

Dear what kind of a question is this??
Do you want the place not to exapnd? or is the expansion prohibited in Quran??
Why not the expanded are should be called Masjid al Haram.

has been modified, demolished, rebuilt, and expanded on a regular basis ever since the time of Muhammad. The most recent work on the Holy Mosque was sponsored by King Fahd (1982-present) of Saudi Arabia and included the addition a new wing and the installation of air conditioning.

raj-ah you crack me up laughing...
why do you always have to revert to threats of doom on those who do not agree with you...

Well laughing some times is good for health.
                              So enjoy!

The House of God is in Jerusalem.
In Hebrew, Beit HaMikdash or "The Holy House" and also Beit Adonai (House of God).
Jerusalem meaning Jeru (City) Salem (of Peace).
It is located on the Temple Mount...
It is well documented in the Torah, which I remind comes before the Hadith!
and fits very well with the descriptions of Masjidi Alharam in The Quran.
Allah is The Greatest and knows best.

AGENT- Historical Evidences? AMBIGUOUS VERSES are not historical evidences bro, they are interpretations based on assumptions.

Now you have changed ambiguous verses to ambiguous Quran?

THE REALITY IS THIS, dear Agentxxx

I am a Quran only believer
Whatever is in Quran is crystal clear
Whatever is in Quran I believe is correct
                                  Quran is unchanged
Quran is the Word of Allah

                                  BUT

There are verses in quran which are ambigous ) )

So do whom you are trying to play with, smart boy

If you doubt a verse in quran or call its verse ambigious that certainly applies to the whole Quran.

And now you misquote me and on that basis declared me a HYPOCRITE

No! I did not misquoted you; You said Quranic verses are ambigious, thus causing shadows of doubt over whole Quran.

                                  Agentxxx

So in fact only Allah knows the true meanings of these ambiguous verses

Dear agentxxx, there is no ambigious verse in quran, as long as it can be interpreted.

                                  Agent xxx

Completly out of context. Yes we should pray for increase in knowldge.
The revelation was completed and Muhammad explained what was revealed to him.

We are not talking about what will happen at the day of judgement, offcourse it will be according to what deeds one has done weather an arabic or non arabic. I am talking about Quran being revealed in arabic and Arabs leading the world as IS RECORDED IN HISTORY, MUHAMMAD WAS AN ARAB and for HUNDRED OF YEARS AFTER MUHAMMAD THEY LEAD THE WORLD.

With apology from all Arab brothers ??? what way are they qualified to lead the world in future and who??.bin laden?

This again reveals discrimination or jeleousy towards Arabs as is evident from yours and few others posts. Bin laden is not the only Arab. And if he does what he is doing in self defence then I am with him.

If any Arab or anyone in the world stands for humanity ?I will support him?but my hero?s lives in the geographic boundaries of Pakistan and not in Arabia.

Pakistan? 1947? what was Pakistan before 1947?? Can you call Dr. Iqbal a hero of Pakistan? Jinnah a Hero of Pakistan? May be no Pakistan after 100 years? then what? there was no Pakistan 100 years before? Pakistan East and Pakistan West? what happened Bangladesh? Pakistan? So who is the hero of Bangladesh? same as Pakistan? No! Why?
My Hero is any one who lives and strives for the name of Allah!
You and your friends keep on parroting Quran only; Quran Only; but the message of Quran is against nationalism and asks for universal brother hood.

I have a dream that one day INDIA/PAKISTAN/JAMMU&Kashmir/Bangladesh will become one again because we were victim of international consipiracy as is Palestine.

                                    Quran clearly tells us that

The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka Full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings

the word use is (Awal Bayt)
So a house which is first house built specially by order of Allah by Abraham and his son for Allah's worship and that house is full of blessing and guidance for all kinds of beings, is SURELY BAYT AL ALLAH.

there is no ambigious verse in quran, as long as it can be interpreted.

                                      Peace

interpretation is the mother of ambiguousness and the discussions we have on this forum prove it

                                        peace Rajah,

THE REALITY IS THIS, dear Agentxxx

I am a Quran only believer
Whatever is in Quran is crystal clear
Whatever is in Quran I believe is correct
                                        Quran is unchanged
Quran is the Word of Allah

                                        BUT

There are verses in quran which are ambigous Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

So do whom you are trying to play with, smart boy

If you doubt a verse in quran or call its verse ambigious that certainly applies to the whole Quran.

Ambiguous = open to dispute, having many possible interpretations; obscure, vague

All these scholars according to your principle because they call these verse "Ambiguous, not entirely clear, Allegorical etc, etc, etc.
They are all of the opinion that none knows its meaning except Allah....and the people well grounded in knowledge say we believe in it that its all from Allah.....

It is He Who has sent down to you the Book (this Qur'?n). In it are Verses that are ENTIRELY CLEAR, they are the foundations of the Book ; and others NOT ENTIRELY CLEAR. So as for those in whose hearts there is a deviation (from the truth) they follow that which is not entirely clear thereof, seeking Al-Fitnah (polytheism and trials, etc.), and seeking for its hidden meanings, but none knows its hidden meanings save All?h. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say "We believe in it; the whole of it (clear and unclear Verses) are from our Lord." And none receive admonition except men of understanding. (Tafsir At-Tabar?).

It is He Who has sent down to you (Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Qur'an). In it are Verses that are ENTIRELY CLEAR, they are the foundations of the Book ; and others NOT ENTIRELY CLEAR. So as for those in whose hearts there is a deviation (from the truth) they follow that which is not entirely clear thereof, seeking Al-Fitnah (polytheism and trials, etc.), and seeking for its hidden meanings, but none knows its hidden meanings save Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say "We believe in it; the whole of it (clear and unclear Verses) are from our Lord." And none receive admonition except men of understanding.

He it is Who has revealed the Book to thee; some of its verses are DECISIVE -- they are the basis of the Book -- and others are ALLEGORICAL. Then those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part of it which is allegorical, seeking to mislead, and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation. And none knows its interpretation save Allah. And those firmly rooted in knowledge, they say We believe in it, it is all from our Lord. And none mind except men of understanding.

He it is Who hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture wherein are CLEAR REVELATIONS - they are the substance of the Book - and others (which are) ALLEGORICAL. But those in whose hearts is doubt pursue, forsooth, that which is allegorical seeking (to cause) dissension by seeking to explain it. None knoweth its explanation save Allah. And those who are of sound instruction say We believe therein; the whole is from our Lord; but only men of understanding really heed.

It is God who has revealed the Book to you in which some verses are CLEAR STATEMENTS (which accept no interpretation) and these are the fundamental ideas of the Book, while other verses may have SEVERAL POSSIBILITIES. Those whose hearts are perverse, follow the unclear statements in pursuit of their own mischievous goals by interpreting them in a way that will suit their own purpose. No one knows its true interpretations except God and those who have a firm grounding in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All its verses are from our Lord." No one can grasp this fact except the people of reason.

He it is Who has revealed the Book to you; some of its verses are DECISIVE, they are the basis of the Book, and others are ALLEGORICAL; then as for those in whose hearts there is perversity they follow the part of it which is allegorical, seeking to mislead and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation. but none knows its interpretation except Allah, and those who are firmly rooted in knowledge say We believe in it, it is all from our Lord; and none do mind except those having understanding.

HE it is who has sent down to thee the Book; in it there are verses that are firm and DECISIVE IN MEANING - they are the basis of the Book - and there are others that are susceptible of DIFFERENT INTERPRETATIONS. But those in whose hearts is perversity pursue such thereof as are susceptible of different interpretations, seeking to cause discord and seeking wrong interpretations of it. And none knows it except ALLAH and those who are firmly grounded in knowledge; they say, `We believe in it; the whole is from our Lord.' - And none take heed except those gifted with understanding ?

He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book In it are verses basic or FUNDAMENTAL (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book others are ALLEGORICAL. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.

It is He Who has revealed the Book to you. Some of its verses are ABSOLUTELY CLEAR and lucid, and these are the core of the Book. Others are AMBIGUOUS. Those in whose hearts there is perversity, always go about the part which is ambiguous, seeking mischief and seeking to arrive at its meaning arbitrarily, although none knows their true meaning except Allah. On the contrary, those firmly rooted in knowledge say ?We believe in it; it is all from our Lord alone.? No one derives true admonition from anything except the men of understanding.

It is He who has sent down to you the Book. Some of its verses are PRECISE IN MEANING they are the foundation of the Book and others OBSCURE. Those whose hearts are swerving with disbelief, follow the obscure desiring sedition and desiring its interpretation, but no one knows its interpretation except Allah. Those who are well-grounded in knowledge say
'We believe in it, it is all from our Lord. And none remember except those
                                        who are possessed of minds.

                                        1. He it is Who has sent down the book to you, in it are statements which are DECISIVE, they are the basis of the book and others are ALLEGORICAL. So those in whose hearts is (a desire for) deviation from the right, they follow that which is allegorical in it, seeking to mislead and seeking to interpret it, and no one knows its interpretation except Allah; and those sound in knowledge say, "We believe in it, all is from our Fosterer, and no one minds except those who have understanding.

It is He Who has sent down to you (Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Qur'?n). (Tafsir At-Tabar?)

It is He Who sent down upon you the Book, in which some verses have CLEAR MEANING, they are the substance of the Book, and others are those, in the meaning of which THERE IS DOUBT. Those in whose hearts there is perversity pursue doubtful one desiring deviation and searching their own viewpoint of it, and its right interpretation is known to Allah alone. And those of firm knowledge say, 'We believed in it, all is from our Lord and none accept admonition save men of understanding.
