Oh my! NO! ....You've certainly misunderstood! ARGH! brickwall

The point is that if you were married, I'm sure you wouldn't be so happy to have you wife suckle all the men at the office--sunnah or not.

Ah, so you were not asking me for marriage...my bad.. Actually now a days am thinking all the time for getting married....and luckily I found a girl but unfortunately later I came to know she wasn't a Muslim ..... Thank God am saved..

And if my wife would prefer to follow sunnah.... I would stop her only if I want to go to hell......God forbid

      Elisa

"Sheihk" Hamsa is trying to coat the sunnah with some sugar so that we soallow it happily, since we are, as you know , and he knows, defiecient in brain and faith. He agrees that it is bitter and meaningless, but he fears the punishment of the grave more than that of hell.. whatever

People are scared of sunnah while it always gives you smile on your face......Alhamdulillah

Why not trying to convert the woman? I would do that, because if the woman is intelligent and all, then i'd better try to convert her, if she wills.

Actually, wouldn't the woman and the man be happier to just have a written accord or something? Is there anything on this issue in the Quran? If not, why making the woman feel uncomfortable by making her being sucked by many men, if she really need to take out hijab?

If she were an eastern girl I would have married her without converting and after the marriage she would definitely convert the very next day....BUT the girl is western and I don't want to take risk.... nope

Yes it could be hard to convert a person from the west deeply attached to it's root.

for someone who is interested in Hypatia's life and work of Alexandria (www.hypatia-lovers.com), I am very astonished that you will promote Hadith.
After all Hypatia was killed by Roman Christian intolerant bigots, and show the ugliest manifestation of bigotry from man-made religions (like the Hadith!!!).
If they were truly following the Injeel she would not have been assassinated in that most gruesome way (same with Archimedes)...

                Peace, Nabster.

Do not question the intentions of the Mufti. You will go to the lowest seventh layer of hell if you do.

                Peace

You will be on my wall of shame, you filthy kafir idolater.

                Peace be upon you.

                Again, peace.

I am not promoting ahadith...... wisdom/rationality and irrationality varies among the individuals. Breast feeding is irrational even for traditionalists but on a lesser scale....to remove that irrationality from the tradition is again irrational but on a higher level..... If you love wisdom and rationality like hypatia then you would become tender towards irrationality....afterall irrationality has no competition with wisdom/rationality....

                    Hahaha i lol'd OPF.

Anyway, this custom arises questions What for schools? What if the woman teacher needs to take out the headscarf or hijab (headscarf)?

Will the 12-14 years old boy have to suck on it?

What if the woman goes against one of the law of God if she has to breast feed a man that isn't of her familly?

                    2431;

"And tell the believing women to subdue their eyes, and maintain their chastity. They shall not reveal any parts of their bodies, except that which is necessary. They shall cover their chests, (with their Khimar) and shall not relax this code in the presence of other than their husbands, their fathers, the fathers of their husbands, their sons, the sons of their husbands, their brothers, the sons of their brothers, the sons of their sisters, other women, the male servants or employees whose sexual drive has been nullified, or the children who have not reached puberty. They shall not strike their feet when they walk in order to shake and reveal certain details of their bodies. All of you shall repent to GOD, O you believers, that you may succeed." 2431

                    024.031
YUSUFALI And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss.
PICKTHAL And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands or fathers or husbands' fathers, or their sons or their husbands' sons, or their brothers or their brothers' sons or sisters' sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack vigour, or children who know naught of women's nakedness. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah together, O believers, in order that ye may succeed.
SHAKIR And say to the believing women that they cast down their looks and guard their private parts and do not display their ornaments except what appears thereof, and let them wear their head-coverings over their bosoms, and not display their ornaments except to their husbands or their fathers, or the fathers of their husbands, or their sons, or the sons of their husbands, or their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or those whom their right hands possess, or the male servants not having need (of women), or the children who have not attained knowledge of what is hidden of women; and let them not strike their feet so that what they hide of their ornaments may be known; and turn to Allah all of you, O believers! so that you may be successful.

Drinking urine won't kill you, however we do have this hadith

                      Bukhari Vol 1, Book 4, Number 234

Narrated Abu Qilaba Anas said, ?Some people of ?Ukl or ?Uraina tribe came to Medina and its climate did not suit them. So the Prophet ordered them to go to the herd of (Milch) camels and to drink their milk and urine . So they went as directed and after they became healthy, they killed the shepherd of the Prophet and drove away all the camels. The news reached the Prophet early in the morning and he sent (men) in their pursuit and they were captured and brought at noon. He then ordered to cut their hands and feet (and it was done), and their eyes were branded with heated pieces of iron, They were put in ?Al-Harra? and when they asked for water, no water was given to them.? Abu Qilaba said, ?Those people committed theft and murder, became infidels after embracing Islam and fought against Allah and His Apostle.?

From this we logically deduce that urine is not unclean medicine. Alhamdulillah.

people in egypt need to check their water supply for possible contamination ...

hey isn't there a hadith that states one of the signs of the last days is that the good will be bad and bad will be good?

maybe bukhari was onto something hmm
