It's not a good idea to treat people who swear to be God aloners as polytheists.

Wow, I never realized that such a description is being used. I just never paid close attention I guess.

unfortunately, more research on life and quran is necessary to make valid claims and backlash the "traditionalists" a.k.a. sunni, shia, etc..

but we do at least know that there is no contradictions in the quran and the quran is the only valid authoritative word of God, so that should be good enough.

well the quran is very much against tradition-religious-following but it does say to respect others' beliefs and not to mock them etc...
