My Dream of Truth
-
peace Babythespy,
Alright. The thing is that we don't know all about dreams or our subconcious. We can't really explain what happened in your dream.
You mentioned your husband...does he follow the quran? It maybe that subconsciously you picked up the arabic and the belief.
It's quite interesting. The point I was trying to make was that believing something because we saw it in a dream isn't a very good idea, and I'm glad you aren't following the quran because of it, and also that you took your dream seriously and are now interested in the quran instead of ignoring it.
oh, and I forgot to answer this
LObster, how do youy know all there is to know about dreams, where did you get this knowledge
I'll just say this
When we are relaxed (like when we get hypnotized), we access our subconscious. In a meditative state, we are kind of in the middle so we can control things (we can put things in, change stuff), but when we go even deeper into relaxation and fall asleep, we have no control, so we can just watch it happening. -
You mentioned your husband...does he follow the quran? It maybe that subconsciously you picked up the arabic and the belief.
It's quite interesting.Yes, my husband does follow the quran. However, he never reads it in arabic as he only knows a few words, therefore, he would not be able to understand it in Arabic. He has never taught me, or even spoken any arabic to me. Thus proving that my subconscious could not have manufactured at least the Arabic part of the dream.

I'll also add a few other things she told me right after the dream happened that she doesn't remember now.
She woke me up right after she had the dream and said "Now I know Jesus was just a prophet" And i raised my eyebrows in amazement.-The lady who was basically a guide in the dream......... Samantha asked her things like 'whats the meaning of life etc...'
The lady responded by saying 'I cannot tell you that, you have to figure that out on your own'
-After the dream she told me that they were some weird names she didn't recognize (except muhammad) so i started asking her if it was musa, isa, she said yes. Again she doesn't know what those words mean but she recognized them from the dream. And some of the others she didn't recognize, like luqmaan, lot etc..
-The book in the dream basically had a family tree of everybody from the beginning to the end. A book of record, maybe 'the record' quran speaks of? and/or the numerically structured books spoken of
-In the dream she specifically remembered that Jesus was married to mary magdelane (this is her subsconscious because she firmly believes this based on archaelogical evidence, logic etc...)and he did have children though she couldn't remember their names
-The lady in the dream the way she described to me (not phsically) seemed like an angel/controller/controlling force whatever you wanna call them.
-
so Babythespy and DArgento are married?
Yes we are.
-
well, that great!
I wish I was married...one less thing I have to do...Take your time. You will find the right one eventually. I was just very lucky and ended up finding the man of my dreams and my soul mate earlier than alot of people.

i once dreamed i was an indian man (im a girl!) being forced into a marriage with reese witherspoon! that was strange! the indian men of the village were chasing me with machetes round the forest to get me to marry her!
does that have a deep and meaningful message behind it?? lol!! -
Peace Lobster,
just one thing...god doesn't speak to us through dreams.
Quite authoritarian of you isn't it?Our dreams show us what is in our subconscious (or soul). What you saw in your dream came from inside you, not from anywhere else. The dream showed you what you already believed.
While I agree with some of your analysis, I definitely disagree that "God doesn't speak to us through dreams.-
God shows them to you as being few in your dream, and had He shown them to be many, then you would have failed and you would have disputed in the matter; it was God who saved you. He is the Knower of what is inside the chests.
-
And the King said ?I continue to dream of seven fat cows which are being eaten by seven thin ones, and seven green pods and others which are dry. O you commanders, tell me what my vision means if you are able to interpret the visions.?
-
They said ?It is nothing but bad dreams; and we are not knowledgeable in the interpretation of dreams.?
-
And it is not for any human being that God would speak to him, except through inspiration, or from behind a barrier, or by sending a messenger to inspire whom He wills by His leave. He is Most High, Wise.

peace Zenje,
sorry for being so authoritarian...that's the admins' job right? hail
Thank you for posting the verses.
Allow me to explain myself
Let's say you have a dream, in it you are sitting on the couch watching TV when this guy appears in front you. He says he is an angel or messenger from god, and he says that god wants you to kill all dogs in the area.
Well?
Was the message really from god?
I've seen people who see something "miraculous" in their dreams and completely change their life based on that.
So how do you know if a dream is "from god" or not? You can't know.See, either ALL dreams are from god, or none of them (there's no middle). Either way, they're all coming from our selves.
We should treat all dreams the same way, we can't ignore some because they were too ordinary and then take others as commandments because they seemed miraculous.
A dream, any dream, should be interpreted and understood, so that we can use it. Dreams shouldn't be followed or believed in. -
Peace Lobster,
sorry for being so authoritarian...that's the admins' job right?
Actually, you sounded like those imams who scream at the podium and finish with a tone of "I have spoken". PThank you for posting the verses.
No problem, dude.Allow me to explain myself

Nice twist, not a good example... No one's telling anyone to kill anything. Plus, we're not talking about psychosSo how do you know if a dream is "from god" or not? You can't know.
You didn't let me answer the question! ??? And ofcourse, I CAN know. You know how you (and others that will not be named) go on babbling about how one can be guided not only through the quran, but through nature, and bla bla bla?... how does one know if they are guided then? Let me guess, you'll still stick to to - "You can't know" for the sake of it, right?See, either ALL dreams are from god, or none of them (there's no middle). Either way, they're all coming from our selves.
Again, THE LOBSTER HAS SPOKEN. &We should treat all dreams the same way, we can't ignore some because they were too ordinary and then take others as commandments because they seemed miraculous.

So what are you saying? temptHave you ever had an epiphany? (not while dreaming) )
