Are you Offended?
-
I agree with Zein except I used to listen to such music, old age must've caught up with me ;D.
-
Peace,
No, I'm not offended but it's not so nice to read such words many times in a sentence.
I wish that I could speak better English and with more vocabularies than I use to.
Why destroy a language with foul words?

"A person is known by the company he/she keeps". The word 'company' here denotes association to anything, including words and dictates a message. The message is read to reflect upon the person's behavioural patterns and to define an overall image. Personally, I see no harm in discussing the nature of vulgarity and obscene words without being directly offensive/defensive but do vision a problem in being consistent.

Can some1 tell me, are we may use such kind of words accordin to Quran?
-
After spending years in the military (Royal Navy) I think I have probably heard every cuss word in the English language, so no it doesn't offend me. I do not use those words, not through any religious reason, but more because I just don't see a reason to use them.

I can think of only verse that condemns acts of cursing
6108- And do not insult those who call on other than God, lest they insult God out of ignorance. And We have similarly adorned for every nation their works; then to their Lord is their return and He will inform them of what they had done.

1426 And the example of the bad word is that of a bad tree uprooted at the soil level; it has no roots to keep it standing.

I like that example. yes
It's from the Quran

I just think, when i use curse words, does it affects people? On some subconscious level? Thats why i ask directly about this 'nasty' words. -
