        I think the "typical" part is what they were against.

              You better watch what you say in the forums. Some of the comments you are making are the reason some other people have been banned. You need to try to keep your comment impersonal. It is very rude to insult people and we all come here to learn and to find out what other people believe. NOT TO BE INSULTED FOR WHAT WE BELIEVE!!! So, please, in the future, avoid making insults and stick to the subject.

              And remember a few rules

              Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

              and...

              If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

                but lucifer worship is devil worship, just like yazidi peakock angel worship is devil worship, just like NBC.

                The only One worthy of worship is The Allah, nothing else transcends the singularity, therefor idolizing.

                  I agree that devil worship is wrong. However, you can't go around putting people down for what they believe. Also, you need to know the facts before you call someone a devil worshiper. The only thing that you can do is pleasantly explain your reasoning, and pray for the person's guidance.

                      Peace,

                      Actually, how do you worship an angel? There are many angels maybe millions but only ONE GOD. I think that the angels are helpers in some kind because they assist God.

                      But what I haven't understand is that, do really God need help?

                      Peace Majidah

                        Peace OM,

                        Do you know how these pagan rituals got incorporated into Islam? Is there an article or something regarding this? I wish to increase my knowledge about this, any help would be appreciated.

                        It is done by hijacking common concepts in the great reading. For example, the common concept of "hajj"/feast was hijacked and changed into the name of a pagan ritual of spinning seven times around a stone cube, etc. Similarly, the common concept of "kaaba"/base was hijacked and changed into the name of an idol in the form of a stone cube and the common concept of "makka"/destruction was hijacked and changed into the name of a pagan religious center.

                        Each one of us subconsiously or consiously did or does the same act of hijacking at one point or another. This is how falsehood is gradually incorporated. For example, your statement "how these pagan rituals got incorporated into Islam" hijacks the common noun "islam"/peacemaking and changes it into the proper name of a religion that didn't exist at the time the great reading was descended. "Islam" (capitalized) is not the same concept as the "islam" (lower case) talked about in the great reading. Don't feel bad because I too am guilty of this sometimes. We do it when we are trying to make ourselves and our beliefs distinguished. By using the term Islam, this makes us feel that this religion Islam is special by virtue of its name and gives us a certain pride in this identity. But this very distinction and division is man-made. On the other hand, the concept of "islam" is universal and is not something that can be achieved by labeling but we actually have to become that in truth. At any rate, back to your question, we can look inside us for the motives that resulted in all corruptions. The same motives that make us want to be proud of a certain identity and culture today were just as strong (if not stronger) 1400-1200 years ago. So it is normal for the pagan Arab identity and culture to be incoporated as part of Islam (the meaningless name of a man-made religion). On the other hand, pagan Arab identity and culture have nothing to do with the concept of "islam"/peacemaking and cannot be incorporated in there no matter what people do. So while the answer to the question "how these pagan rituals got incorporated into Islam?" requires a long explanation, the question "how these pagan rituals got incorporated into "islam"/peacemaking?" doesn't require a long answer. Instead, its answer is obvious since unlike the proper name Islam (which can be made to mean anything) pagan rituals have nothing to do with "islam"/peacemaking so they cannot be incorporated to begin with. Indeed, the god destroys falsehood with the truth.

                        I hope this helps.

                        Peace,

                        Ayman

                          Sorry for the delayed response, I didn't notice the new post.

                          Thanks for the insight. I agree with everything you said. It's ridiculous how much is already programmed into us. I've read your article "What's in a Name?" and it's very interesting.

                          Also on a side note, I notice you mentioned hajj=feast. Could you elaborate on this?

                          Peace

                            Don't worry about the delayed response. Thank you for your interest in the article. I am actually in the process of a significant rewriting the "What's in the name?" article as part of a book that I am trying to write and publish.

                            When we read the purpose of the "hajj" in 2228 we see that it is to witness benefits and to remember the name of the god on what he gave us from the livestock. We are told to eat from it and feed the poor. In fact, if we carefully read the whole passage from 2227-37, we can realize that 80% of it is about the livestock. So this is about eating and feeding others the livestock's meat. What do we call that? This is a feast.

                            Such annual feasts were common and the people of the book had them. On the other hand, none of the people of the book went to or even heard about Mecca or spun seven times around a stone of any sort. In fact, the word "hagg" in the Old Testament means "feast"

                            From http//www.infobot.org/factpacks/old_test_meanings.fact

                            Haggai => feast
                            Haggiah => the Lord's feast
                            Haggith => rejoicing

                            See also

                            http//books.google.com/books?q=hebrew+hagg+feast&btnG=Search+Books

                            So the concept of "hagg"/"feast" is a mundane common concept that was well known to the people of the book. This universal concept has nothing to do with the elaborate pagan circus going on in Mecca.

                            Peace,

                            Ayman

                              Awesome, I'm definitely looking forward to that.

                              Wow I hadn't even noticed that. That makes a lot of sense. Would you mind translating 2227-37 when you have time? Sorry if this is asking a lot, I'm just curious.

                              Also, what are your thoughts on the other "hajj" appearances that are translated as debate/argue? Perhaps the purpose of "the hajj" is as described in 2227-37, but the other appearances are referring to a different meaning?

                              Peace

                                I think that the other appearances that are translated as debate are not the same form. For example, you can see some of the differences here

                                Noun HaJJ, 3rd Person Past Tense HaJJ

                                Noun HuJJT, 3rd Person Past Tense HAaJ
