    Peace,

Im trying to get a good grasp at arabic vocabulary so I would like to know if you guys can use it when you can? Mashallah, I have learned much from this site alone, especially root words. I would like to broaden my vocabulary so I can understand the Quran much better. I think that it also helps others as well, if not then my apoligies.

    Wa Salaam

      Salaam/peace amuslim ;D

johnny_k usually uses "khi", a shortening of "akhi" my brother

Many here object to unnecessary usage of arabic vocab and I understand that. Also, with exclusive letters and long vowels, it is difficult to accurately write many arabic words, and you will end up pronouncing them incorrectly. (I can already see this in your wa salaam, which is pronounced was-salaam)

ooo, thank you for the correction ) If others object, then I guess its fine. It is hard reading instead of hearing the word but it gets the general part of it across. If theres no arabic schools around, how would you advise me to learn? Theres Islamic schools but its all sunni.

        Was Salaam )

Looks good, but price is really steep. Hope its good though. However, is this good for Classical Arabic? Thats my primary use for arabic is the Quran alone, not to converse.

So I can direct all my questions there? Thanks. Also, why not have someone have words of the day or something like that?
