    Salaams All,

    isn't it strange desiring men seems to be worst crime done by lots people according to;

SHAKIR And (We sent) Lut when he said to his people What! do you commit an indecency which any one in the world has not done before you?

And i think it happens all over the world - may be even before lots time.

so what was it that was done to be so bad?

    Here we go-------.........

First Abraham is the Father of Moses
    http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=14148.0

    051.024
YUSI Has the story reached thee, of the guests of Abraham?
    051.025
YUS Behold, they entered his presence, and said "Peace!" He said, "Peace!" (and thought, "These seem) unusual people."
    051.026
YUS Then he turned to his household, in extreme haste,
    051.027
YUSUFALI And he got close to them... saying, "Will ye not wait?"
    051.028
YUS He conceived a fear of them. They said, "Fear not," and they gave him info of a son endowed with knowledge.
    051.029
YUS But his wife came forward (laughing) aloud she smote her forehead and said "An old woman!"

Abraham is the father of Moses who saved their son from the men of Pharaoh who have come to slaughter him. Look at the context of the ayah's - looks so straight forward.

Has the story reached thee, of the guests of Abraham?
Behold, they entered his presence, and said "Peace!" He said, "Peace!" (and thought, "These seem) unusual people."
Then he turned to his household, in extreme haste,
And he got close to them... saying, "Will ye not wait?"
He conceived a fear of them. They said, "Fear not," and they gave him info of a son endowed with knowledge.
But his wife came forward (laughing) aloud she smote her forehead and said "An old woman!"

the women is showing she is too old and shows she can't have a son- too old for such a thing as the strangers claim, obviously otherwise they will kill their son.

and in the continuation of the subject matter at 37114 there is evidence to this also.

    The following ayah's had lots name in them but have been modified below;

    1170,74,77.

    011.069
YUSUFALI There came Our messengers to Abraham with glad tidings. They said, "Peace!" He answered, "Peace!" and hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf.
    011.070
YUSUFALI But when he saw their hands went not towards the (meal), he felt some mistrust of them, and conceived a fear of them. They said "Fear not We have been sent against the people cleaving/ of sympathy."
    011.071
YUSUFALI And his wife was standing (there), and she laughed But were told of zero mercy as a lesson .
    011.072
YUSUFALI She said "Alas for me! shall I bear a child, seeing I am an old woman, and my husband here is an old man? That would indeed be a wonderful thing!"
    011.073
YUSUFALI They said "Dost thou wonder at Allah's decree? The grace of Allah and His blessings on you, o ye people of the house! for He is indeed worthy of all praise, full of all glory!"
    011.074
YUSUFALI When fear had passed from (the mind of) Abraham and the glad tidings had reached him, he began to plead for a people cleaving/ sympathetic.
    011.075
YUSUFALI For Abraham was, without doubt, forbearing (of faults), compassionate, and given to look to Allah.
    011.076
YUSUFALI O Abraham! Seek not this. The decree of thy Lord hath gone forth for them there cometh a penalty that cannot be turned back!
    011.077
YUSUFALI And when messengers came to those cleaving, he was grieved on their account and felt himself powerless. He said "This is a distressful day."

Some people are wanting the death of the son of Abraham-Moses.

But he shows his daughters that that is all he has.

    011.078
YUSUFALI And his people came rushing towards him, and they had been long in the habit of practising evil. He said "O my people! Here are my daughters they are free of all evil Now fear Allah, and cover me not with shame about my guests! Is there not among you a single right-minded man?"
    011.079
YUSUFALI They said "Well dost thou know we have no need of thy daughters indeed thou knowest quite well what we want!"
    011.080
YUSUFALI He said "Would that I had power to suppress you or that I could betake myself to some powerful support."

    People still carry it out-somewhere.

    Part Two The Lost Boy
When Sudan's militias began slaughtering young boys, thousands fled for their lives. Now some of these "lost boys," like John Dau, have made it to the U.S.?and a second chance at life.

    Gods Blessings.

I wish to warn onlookers that this gentleman is not honest in his pos. He is even distorting the translations given by others though he is just cutting and pasting. Had he been honest, his post would have shown the translation of 1174 as under

SHAKIR So when fear had gone away from Ibrahim and good news came to him, he began to plead with Us for Lut's people.

        The following ayah's had lots name in them but have been modified below;

        1170,74,77.

What was modified was the name lot using lane lexicon.

            Salam,
mz I think you are significantly confused. You are strongly misinterpretting these verses and I think it may be that you haven't studied enough to understand what these verses are actually talking about. My suggestion is that you read more and educate yourself. There is too much confusion in your understanding for me to go into detail.
            Good luck
            Salam,
            Arnab

OKay, I take my words back. But the possibility {more than 50%} was there for everyone including me, since you used Yusaf Ali on above of every verse. When you are modifying/changing the translation it is no more of Yusaf Ali, it is yours. Therefore you should have written your own name. When I translate I give it a different colour and do not reflect that it is the translation of so and so. In a lengthy post one thing said remains unnoticed while repetition of Yusaf Ali was too visible.

                Salaams All,

It may be that you haven't studied enough to understand what these verses are actually talking about

                Well that?s your opinion Br,

                But

You commit an indecency which any one in the world has not done before you?

This is what is being said to what those people did ? know is it worse to slaughter children because of the order of a madman pharoe or undertake a homo activity.

I think the two are miles off.

The only recent event that slaughtered children on a massive scale was in Rwanda ? if you see those morons chopping children?s heads you will comprehend more of what Allah is saying and it?s not at all to do with kissing Asses.

                God Bless you.

                      Salam,
mz, in the title you pose one question as a topic (then you bring up a whole bunch of different issues that are unrelated). You proceed to misinterpret verses about the angels coming to Abraham and give him news of a son through Sarah, then you try to say that Abraham is Moses father. You seem to be confusing the angels coming to give Abraham news that he will have a son through Sarah with verses about the angels coming to warn Lot in the city of Gomorrah This is why I say you need to study more and you are totally confusing these verses. There is no connection other than angels are coming to visit messengers of God But for two very different reasons.

                      PEACE

Interesting. A quick Google turned up

                          Genesis 135-11 (New International Version)

Now Lot, who was moving about with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents. 6 But the land could not support them while they stayed together, for their possessions were so great that they were not able to stay together. 7 And quarreling arose between Abram's herdsmen and the herdsmen of Lot. The Canaanites and Perizzites were also living in the land at that time.

8 So Abram said to Lot, "Let's not have any quarreling between you and me, or between your herdsmen and mine, for we are brothers. 9 Is not the whole land before you? Let's part company. If you go to the left, I'll go to the right; if you go to the right, I'll go to the left."

10 Lot looked up and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan was well watered, like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, toward Zoar. (This was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) 11 So Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and set out toward the east. The two men parted company

                          Abram = Abraham.

                            Salam,
The Quran is a continuation of scripture from going back to the Torah. I BELIEVE, as a MUSLIM in what is revealed "To thee and what is revealed BEFORE THEE"
THE TORAH THE PSALMS THE INJEEL AND THE QURAN

This is not something I made up, this is in the Quran.

Please don't wink at me its rude and shows disrespect.

                            Salam,

There is no difference IN THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGES between all that was revealed. The Quran is the LAST testament given to Muhammad (SAW). How can it supercede, when it is the last of what was revealed? A continuation.

                                      peace

I found your intretation very interesting,
Scott Siraj Al-Haqq Kugle wrote a article about this, I have the book that it is in, and it is similar to what you say about Lots people assulting and raping males-often in prisions men are often raped to show dominance over them not partnership- and abanding their wifes/families-like what was done in ancient greece women were only to produce kids

also the quran says god made men who do not desire women.
                                      and this verse 4250
some say this verse talks about transgenders adn gays

maybe you should think of the comment as helpful and follow the advice instead of getting defensive.

hmm... god destroyed them for being gay, or god destroyed them for genocide/infanticide

                                        tough choice

                                          Salaams All,

mz, in the title you pose one question as a topic (then you bring up a whole bunch of different issues that are unrelated).

Sorry Br.Arnab but these are all related ? it is just one story, the worst crime committed by men. Your welcome to bring just one unrelated ayah. And there are no biblical angels to my knowledge in the quran as Br. Aaron said.

                                          Come on have a go.

                                          God Bless.
