Those who disbelieved said, "Why did not the Quran come through him all at once?" We have released it to you gradually, in order to fix it in your memory. We have recited it in a specific sequence.

A Quran that we have released slowly, in order for you to read it to the people over a long period, although we sent it down all at once.

    Peace

Another EXample dodge to the people
    The acual Aya is
    17106
Which word was translated "at once" ???

17106 (It is) a Qur-an Which We have divided (Into parts from time to time), In order that thou mightest Recite it to men At intervals We have Revealed it by stages.

        Dear sister
This is what I am pointing out; That is why the Holy Quran warned us 1400 yrs ago.

        (446) Among those who have become Jews ,there are some who alter the words from their context,

Assuming it isn't, can you again, explain the significance of this in relation to the original topic? Or are you simply nitpicking?

              Peace,

I have no knowledge of Arabic language and therefore I cannot comment about that word. But I can agree about that we shall be aware of taking things out in context. Quran translations should be so close it can be to the actual meanings of the words.

Don't you see they usually avoid arabic Quranic text and give only transliteration or Translation (self -concted)?

I don't understand. The verses have been presented. Can you get on to your point? I'm really not trying to argue, I just want to know what purpose is.

                  Peace

                    Dear
My major concern is to know the reason for "Tahreef bil mana" which is being repeated persistantly.
I want to know the people who are committing this sin, if they really have some knowledge about "Quran" which these are preaching
                    Deen = Quran + Sunna
                    Their modus operandi is
1Remove the personality of the prophet from it assigning him just a duty of "UPS" or "FEDEX" to deliver the book - so sunna is gone
2As far as Quran is concerned .It has attributes
a Words = Preserved till last day because Allah Amighty Himself has taken the reponsibility - so these cannot be changed
bMeanings Change the meanings by different methodology and it is going on .This effort has been from the very beginning of Islam.

Where is the sunna of the other prophets? Following a prophet's tradition and culture during their time has nothing to do with the deen. Different prophets have different sunnas and surely you can't distinguish between prophets. Only God can. Do you see the flaw in this?

                      1. Are you saying these are attributes of the quran or ahadith? If the former, I agree.

                      Peace

                        Dear Quranist brothers.
The Holy Quran was revealed in how much time
All in one time or gradually in some time duration?

                        (a) how much time - doesn't bother me. (b) not "all in one time".

                        next? eat
