The word an-Naas (The people) has always perplexed me in terms of it's derivation. Can someone provide an explanation on how it is derived from its root?
When one looks for the root, it is best to look at the singular and not the plural. This is because some plurals have forms that are non-standard. So if you look at the singular of "NAS", you will get the answer.
