You have asked many questions on this forum, now may I ask something Leoxyz?
-
Hello Leoxyz you have asked many questions on this forum to those who believe in Qur'an alone and that following hadith isn't the answer to obeying the prophet. Now for me, I'm still a bit undecided on this issue, however there are a few things I fundamentaly know about - only a few though (
Anyway, I feel that with these discussions, people (on both sides of opinion) have forgotten the reasons why they have come to the conclusions they have - so if you will may I ask you a series of questions that might clear up things for everyone and hopefully give all posters on Free Minds food for thought?
Again, I'm not in any committed opinion as I myself will admit candidely that I am still debating and feel sometimes it could go either way. And I think the presence of people on this forum with alternate opinions to 'Qur'an Alone' is very healthy and those with different opinions who aren't prepared to insult others are very hard to come by. I think your recent questions have provided a much needed input into people's thinking and understanding.
So, at your confirmation I will ask my first question in after your post.
Salam!

I've notived the amount of topics Leoxyz has started, and they all get to about 20 pages, I could never get to that level of postage.

Sorry to say none of my questions have ever been answered. And if at all some one tried to answer that was without any proper reference.
None of them were able to translate even a few aya ,not to speak of so many other questions. -

Cognitive dissonance is a psychological term describing the uncomfortable tension that may result from having two conflicting thoughts at the same time, or from engaging in behavior that conflicts with one's beliefs, or from experiencing apparently conflicting phenomena.
In simple terms, it can be the filtering of information that conflicts with what you already believe, in an effort to ignore that information and reinforce your beliefs. In detailed terms, it is the perception of incompatibility between two cognitions, where "cognition" is defined as any element of knowledge, including attitude, emotion, belief, or behavior.

Another example of ridiculous answer.

Another example of ridiculous answer.
I would have to disagree, I have actually found that true myself when I am taken to chruch; Whenever I hear something conflicting with my own beliefs (Jesus is Gods equal, actual Mormon teaching) I am almost instantly enraged. There is no problem with Cognitive Dissonance as long as you dont let it cloud your judgement.
On a lighter note, 666th post!

Again sorry
1I cannot forget my unaswered questions.First comes first
2I am not a scholar.I am for the time being in a learning phase. So how can I assure you that I will answer the question.1 People have tried to answer your questions, but each side goes back and forth. Even those that can speak arabic reply to you, yet you say they are wrong. What more do you want? For them to convert? They already answered your question. All of you just keep on going in circles. If they believe a certain way, just leave it at that. Same for the other parties. What more do you want?
2 Im sure the same can be said for many people here as well. Just because you are higher in knowledge of Arabic doesnt mean that others wont gain the same or even a higher level later in life. Life is about learning. Although I do agree that as a Muslim it should be your responsibility to learn some arabic and gain understanding.

That is true not every one is scholar and then they should refrain from tampering the Quran in name of "research"and remain in limits like me.
you saidJust because you are higher in knowledge of Arabic doesnt mean that others wont gain the same or even a higher level later in life.
No dear that is absolutely a wrong concept about me.I have repeatedly said ,I am not a scholar rather just a learner.
This what surprises me when I see clear "Tampering of the Quran"These are not able to translate correctly even this simple aya
Not to speak of other verses in the translation of which they push their own words just like "mufassirin"

So Samia and the others do not translate it correctly, even though they know Arabic? Do you think that they are "tampering with the Quran" intentionally to misguide others or to pursue their own reasoning?
Again, they answered your question. They gave you their translation of it, what more do you want? Didnt they also tell you about their translation of Wudu? What exactly did they not answer?

She gave me two versions of the ayaa.
1One with "urjulakum"
2One with "urjulikum"Look at her reply
Salaam Leoxyz
It's not about a verse being correct or incorrect. No one is saying it's incorrect. It's about vocalization of the word "arjulakum or arjulikum". If one adopts the fisrt one, and on mere grammatical grounds, it will follow wash your faces wujuuhakum", so it will mean wash your feet.
On the other hand, if one adopts wa arjulikum", it will follow rub your heads ru'uusikum" and it will mean rub your feet.
or
And for your information, no one here messes with qur'aan, quite the opposite. If some people divide their efforts between the quraan and some twenty-hundreds other books, we concentrate ALL our efforts on the quraan. Keep an open mind and try to read more than talk.
Do you call it reply from one who is describing "Two versions" or one Verse.
It is a question of common sense contradictiory statements cannot be correct at one time.
Don't you think this tampering of the Quran ? -
Ok, this thread is digressing!
Let's get this started, I am not trying to get you to believe any sort of dogma or interpretation, I will only be asking these questions in the hopw that both me and you and everyone who reads this thread may benefit.
Although this is a public forum may I ask please that only Leoxyz posts so that everyone can see things easily.
Salam Leoxyz, can you please tell me, in as long or short a post you like what Hadith is.

Peace,
Amuslim, you're wasting your time on our friend Leo. He knows very well that his questions have been answered, and in most instances, the points raised with the questions, soundly refuted.
Peace
I have given the example above regarding the Aya of "Arjulakum".That was the standard of "Reply /Refutation".

Will you not answer my questions Leoxyz?

Insha Allah al-Quraishi, I think I can answer some of your questions since I do believe firmly in Sunnat and Ahadeeth.
