These sites together will give you all the info you need to get a basic view on the Quranic system of Islam. Islam based on the Quran is very flexible and gives a whole basis for a society, laws for the state, ethics, advice, guidance for politics and economics, family laws and so on.

The Islam of today is mostly the result of monarchs interferring in the understanding of the Quran, thus is an unreliable source for understanding Islam.
