Peace. I found a link on medical consequences of sodomy. http//www.earstohear.net/Separation/sodomy.html
this should imply that sodomy is indeed prohibited.

From my understanding the Quran doesn't mention anal sex and why should it )

There's more important things to deal with than that in the world.

If there's no indication of something in the Quran we have to use our God given faculties to decide personally on whether to pursue it or not.

I don't know medically whether it is dangerous so I guess doctors will be the best people to speak to I guess if someone is looking to do that kind of stuff.

      PEACE

I was thinking about a verse telling the Israelites not to approach their women from the backs. Maybe it was a hadith. I though there was a verse about that.

Sodomy as far as I can tell from the Quran is'nt prohibited between man and woman. Remember we cannot prohibit something that God hasn't prohibited.

I believe the reason being that through Gods mercy he's given us freedom to learn whats not good for us but will not necessarily punish in the next life but make us learn in this life by the outcome of the decisions.

        PEACE

Yes but since medically it is not recommended to have anal sex, what more do you need? Its just like circumcision. Medically, its recommended, so do it! Medically dangerous, avoid it!

Imagine the number of wives who would suffer if supposedly the Quran doesnt prohibit it!

The Quran also doesnt say whether we should eat dogs or cats or not, so do you eat them?

Your taking things out of proportion and not understanding what im saying. I agree if things are medically dangerous then avoid it but my point is are we going to get punished in the next life for it??Of course not we get punished in this life from the outcome of doing it. Ive not studied anal sex but if a man and a husband both consent to it then thats their decision i don't see it something that is prohibited in the system of islam.

You mention the wives suffering if supposedly the Quran doesn't prohibit it but we are told to love and care for our wives....why would we do something against their wishes??

            PEACE

Peace, women sometimes cannot say no to men. They're thus more vulnerable. They sometimes say yes just to please their husbands. And men on the other sometimes impose themselves too much.
Also if it's prohibited between men to men, it's also because God didnt design men to do this. Sexual intercourse between man and woman on the other hand is a perfect design of nature. Both sexes were specifically designed to fulfill their respective function. Now is that the case for sodomy? Ask yourself if God designed our organs to fulfill that?

I learned something new today. Still can't believe it.
What do you think about this? hmm
                    http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_view_of_anal_sex

                    Salam.

Those guys need further rehabilitation, i'm afraid, not the words granted when they ask for asylum in Europe and USA.
                    Right?

                    Peace.

And piety is not that you would enter a home from its back, but piety is whomever is righteous and come to the homes from their main doors.

                      !
