Vilks, who has been a controversial artist for more than three decades in Sweden, says his drawing was a calculated move, and he wanted it to elicit a reaction.

You think someone is an attention seeker?

"No one actually loves the truth, but someone has to say it," he says.

What truth? He just wants to see his name in print, maybe he'll even get knighted for it, if they do that kinda stuff in Sweden. There are so many real and substantial things to be fighting this freedom of speech fight for, that this is just a bad joke.

Vilks, a self-described atheist, points out he's an equal opportunity offender who in the past sketched a depiction of Jesus as a pedophile.

Yeah, Hitler was a particularly ethical mass-murderer, championing death for all, equally.

This guy is wrong but to want to slaughter him in the name of God just because he drew someone whom no one has seen and who is no longer of this world is even more wrong. Is this the way to respond to provocation?

He drew the Prophet Muhammed of arabic mythology, quite accurately too. But not the one in the Quran, though.
