    Peace,
why are the tabligh so contradictory with themselves? They come to knock at our doors, they preach about how the prophet was poor and how we should not run after money BUT YET they themselves are very rich, they are like capitalists who control everything.
They knock at people's door and market their so-called islam. Just check the following link. It's the blog profile of the son of a tabligh imam of a highly attended mosque here.

how can they preach that women should stay home, wear veil, etc but yet look what they do online. I have nothing against this guy but since a sect here criticized quraniyoun, well i tell them not very tabligh your followers, huh?!

They are a cross between sufism and wahhabism.

Their favorite book stories of the sahaba. Although the book is thick, they read the same pages, the story of a little boy who had 1arm injured in holy war and decided to cut it off in order to fight without being burdened by it! Where on earth do they get all this?

Probably from some hadiths but perhaps not in Bukhari. They are islamist and are recognized by the Islamist as a sufi version of islamism. Most islamist do not recognize the traditionbal sufis as they see them as not following only the Sunnah.

Well, here they are not in line w sufi. They dont send salaam on prophet like the sunnat jamaat do, but still they idolize him by adopting a supposedly 7th century desert arab look. They dont go to wahabi mosques, and they have their own. They like to make hadith study circles after prayers. Their favorite dialogue is to 'make intention to go in jamaat for 40days' meaning they wanna preach to people of other regions about their version of islam.
They're so dumb that they dont hesitate to preach to people who are really busy. They dare to preach to students at the eve of exams.

And many people who go to this mosque know this guy is a playboy. But they dont tell him anything.cause in the suni religion, brothers should hide the fault of others specially when they are sons of imam. This guy, as a tabligh also dares to preach islam 'dawa' in other countries like south africa.

Well, I guess these tablighies can be different in different places. I've had some interaction with some tablighies in Pakistan, and they are just like the rest of the population, i.e. a diverse mix. You will find hypocrites whom you just have to detest, and you will also find very nice, gentle and balanced people. They are all different, like the population in general. I'm not fond of sunnism, or any other dogmatic system for that matter, but some people really try to do good. Perhaps they are not very openminded all the time, but they try to do good within their limited scope, without hurting or offending people... and then there are of course idiots as well, but hey, such is life and this world... no group is homogeneous, people are people all over the world in every creed, whether they call themselves tablighi jamaat, salvation army or oak brook ornithologists.

But yeah, I know what you mean
