Peace to all and Peace to Muhammd Jafar.

Muhammad Jafar has expressed great displeasure of the way I expressed my views of the Sunni beliefs and how it applies to him. He demanded an apology and said to never say anything to him if I do not apologize.

At first, I apologized for how I said, but I did not apologize for what was said, because I believed if I apologized for what was said then I'd be apologizing for having my viewpoints.

But I had to do something to try and see why he is as angry as he is. I had to look at it from his position. After doing that and after reading all the posts that he's made, I see now that he has every right to be upset. He's expressed his opinions and views without ruffling anyone's feathers and I have failed, in this particular case, to do the same thing. One of the things that makes this discussion board stand out from the rest is the openness allowed for intellectual discussion and debate, but also the level of decency and respect that have come to be the reputation of this forum. I do not want to be the one to ruin that reputation.

I'm sure that Muhammad Jafar still has nothing to say to me, I'm cool with that. Him speaking to me or not isn't the motivation behind my apology, the realization that I was wrong is the motivation behind it.

So, if you are reading this Muhammad, I apologize not to get you to stop being mad at me, but because I know that I do owe you an apology.

I am sorry, Muhammad Jafar, for what I said and everyone here can rest assure that this sort of situation will not happen with me involved again.

For that matter, I guess I owe PrinceZED an apology too because that particular post was addressed to him as well, so I apologize PrinceZed.

In fact, PrinceZED, myself and others are locked into a pretty good conversation right now concerning sunnah, hadith and stuff and it's a good discussion. I hope it stays that way.

    Peace y'all,
    Damon.
