Proving the existence of God: this video kinda makes sense
-
Makes no sense to me...
I believe GOD cannot be proved by scientific evidences or say he is "eternal" or some non sensical english or whatever words. Each one of us has a level of understanding based on our experience and surroundings that give us knowledge.
so they say, GOD is snake, elephant, idol, stone, moon, sun, photo, people, book, trinity, everywhere, most powerfull, infinity, eternal and whatsoever new invented words thats going to come, and they have faith in it.Faith is something which comes on something which need no proof, if it needs proof then faith is meaningless, and so I think he is trying to fool others and himself.

So why would God create reality and then forget to put a method to falsify/prove God's existance? Does that make sense to you? The nature of a "program" is that it does exactly what you tell it to do, and if it, i.e. "us" is questioning its creator, then you surely are responsible for handling that as well. Hence, the terms "everywhere", "most powerful", etc. Most people argue against/with God but how many people, as muslims, use the attributes given in the quran to argue?

OPF,
I just want to say, for me The video or anything like that sort will never be a proof for GODs existance, "eternal" doesnt makes any sense to me, may be I should grow. I believe in GOD by seeing things before me, the fantastic creations, me, you and everything before me? isnt that enough?

Yes, but for "God" to exist, God has to be provable/possible logically. Why would a God create humans, give them such and such reasoning, then make it impossible for them to deduce that he exists?

Peace,
I KIND of agree with amin. I have some issues with the attributes of God. Is it really attributes, or is God actually IT? Reason I state that because if God has attributes, wouldnt that somehow imply limitations, therefore making God a creation? This is one of the reasons why I dont believe that God is actually "good", its our perception. I just think that God "chose" to be good. Even stating that, I think it gives the idea of a limitation, which I think is hardly impossible for us not to do, be it that we are human.
Since we are on this topic, is God a spirit? If so, doesnt that create the notion of a containment? One of my translations states that He/She/It is a spirit, astagfirullah if I am wrong. Im not talking about The Spirit, the slave of Allah.

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Say He is Allah, the One and Only!
Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
He begetteth not nor is He begotten.
And there is none like unto Him.Whatever we think God is LIKE He isn't that as this surah says. Our mind cannot comprehend God in this world. When we die we will face our Creator.
Just my 2 cents.

If we agree that God created the universe, God then is also outside and independent of the universe, i.e. time, space, etc. doesn't apply to Him. Therefore, the very nature of God is "eternal." Asking "what created God?" is ridiculous - that is, if we agree He created the universe.

I wholeheartedly agree with that. I actually heard that from one of Dr Zakir Naiks talks as well. I think in a way that can actually be taken to shirk since all things, even emotions and attributes, are created from God?

I agree with that. It is, however, human nature to question that. Something had to be created, since that is how we are. Even if we go by their logic, something had to create the protons, neutrons, etc.

I'm not sure I understand. Human nature to question what?

To question where we come from. Thats one of the reasons why I believe there is religion. It answers something we can't. People get scared to question what happens.

I completely agree it's human nature to question where we come from. I just saying that asking where God comes from or who created God is absurd
