I do not really understand the topic title and how it relates to your post. In order to impede you from getting off on the wrong foot here, please repect the beliefs of others and do not joke about any sect or belief someone may have. To each his/her own.

I have been in sects. I was told once I am not allowed to pray because my hair was wet (after I had a shower).
Now is that funny at all? nooo it's just sad. '(
I completely agree with brother TheNabi without a doubt. We are not a sect and we will never be like them if we truly believe in Allah and the last day. Even though sectarians give me a lot of hell I would never mock their beliefs. What's in the heart is what's most important and may Allah guide humanity.

besides, how can we mock others when we (ourselves) used to be amongst the lost... and look at our family and friends and relatives!!! The prophets used to be lost until God gave them the book and the wisdom and the prophethood. Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) used to not believe in anything. No human is perfect. As Allah says
1253 "Nor do I absolve my own self (of blame) the (human) soul is certainly prone to evil, unless my Lord do bestow His Mercy but surely my Lord is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful."
I don't mean to sound harsh, but speaking for myself I would love to tell these people the truth and spend time doing tazkeya lil-nafs (purification for the soul).
Sis Farida it is better to open a topic in the Projects thread about how we can help guide sectarians to the book of Allah. The prophet's role according to the Quran was only a warner and a bearer of good news. This is his example to follow. And I'm not just full of talk, I am one of those people on Paltalk and msn messenger and using email and everything to spread the message. And yes, it is working Alhamdu lillah. Hard work, but well worth it, as Allah says

Farida, your post about Shia and Sunni reminds about country music lovers when they say... "There's only two kinds of music.. Country and Western" There are many more sects... than just those two..
We are not a sect and we will never be like them if we truly believe in Allah and the last day.

I am really lost for words; why are you being so judgmental?
First of tell tell me where did I laught at anyone?
I just wanted to start a dialogue in a light hearted manner with a bit of sense of humour and am surprised to see the narrow minded approach in many responses.
Some are calling me imposter others hin that I'm obssessed with sex ...may Allah help you all.
I have been relying on the teachings of the Qur'an for many years and have argued succesfully against hadith which were not in compliance with the Quran but being a woman and also one who does not cover her hair I was never taken seriously by so called Muslims.
I have lots of Shia and Sunni friends most of whom agree with me but they decide to remain within their sects.
Muslim is the one who submits to any arguments with evidence from Quran rather than saying "no my teacher said so or my mother or father said so and so".

Keep smiling and remember Allah is the best juge and we have day of judgement for that

It's ironic that you start a humour thread but were unable to grasp the "humour" in OPF's post. No, nobody is accusing you of being an imposter, but rather an imposter might be presenting himself as you (does this make sense? confused. That's why OPF asks if there was a "sect change". He even explained it.
Cheer up. If we do not like to mock others, we would definitely not mock you (provided that you are not Leoxyz ;D)

Well, I will announce it so nobody gets a surprise afterwards I am not Leoxysz, but am also starting not to be too sure of that. What is this does or doesn't, what are you talking about? Sometimes, in this quranalone sect I feel surrounded not by quranaloners, but by alonealoners, and behind a glass. I mean, the last posts I am lost. But that is nothing unusual, its my normal state in this gorgeous fun sect.
