Peace. I'm feel uncomfortable when someone calls me muslim. Even though that's what quran says we should be called as. But this term has been hijacked. The more correct term is submitter, but it seems that you guys wanna avoid this term, i dont know why. And now to call me fundamentalist would be to insult me. I dont wanna be termed same as hadith upholders, hypocrites, terrorism-approvers etc To be honest, all that there was to say has already been said by rashad. What i disapprove of him is that his message was not 100 percent quran alone namely in his 5 rakaat prayers, interest rate at 2.5 But otherwise, he was right when he explained attitude of the traditionalists/hypocrites. In fact, the quran itself is clear about that, but it seems that people dont want to believe it when it says that those who uphold other laws are transgressors. Quran aloners are perceived as satan followers. Ask any mu slimes. Now ask yourself should you befriend people who call you disciples of satan? People who cannot accept the fact that you follow something better than them. Would you befriend persecutors?
Some people say they are solidary with palestinians. But just tell them that you reject hadith. Do you think they would approve you? No it's likely they'd kill you. And now you say you approve them? The quran's psychology of disbelievers is clear. It tells you that whether you warn them or not, they will not believe, so why do you guys insist to associate yourselves with them?

      Peace,

I hate the term 'terrorist/jihadist/'. It gives power to otherwise a meaningless label.

"Fear of a name increases fear of the thing itself." - Dumbledore, from Harry Potter

People have the wrong idea that only 'muslims' commit horrendous acts.

      • Let's not forget that Hitler was a white supremest and a christian and he exterminated the jews
-The catholic Columbus exterminated the Native Americans, unless they converted and gave up their gold and stole their land
-The christian crusades; All what 13 of them?
-In the 90s how the muslims of serbia and bosnia were 'ethnically cleansed' by christians

      No one ever mentions that!

Tarikh, are you calling just like that and out of the blue all Palestinians killers? That is racist remark if there ever was one. They have been enduring for 60 years what most people wouldn't endure even a week without turning into a raging dog. We should thank God that we are spared what they are not and pray for their delivery. And thank Palestinians for the brake their resistance has put iunto the imperial designs of those who established the zionist state and who certainly had bigger things in mind than just a little piece of Palestine, as we are seeing now. And most Palestinians are neither jihadists nor islamists, and not even all of them are muslism of any kind, since a percentage of them are christians, and even some non zionists Jews.

May God have mercy on them and reward their patience and courage during generations. May God bless them and give us as much if we ever are in a similar plight.

        Salaam

Peace huruf, i'm not condoning either israelis or palestinians. What i'm saying is that palestinians are very likely to reject and condemn to apostasy and death anyone who doesn't follow the so called sunnah of the prophet. Did you ever had a real life debate with traditionalists? I did and i can tell you that they really hate us. Their hearts conceal a hate even more intense than what their mouth express. In their public posters, they wrote demonstration of power against the satanic expression of quraniyoun. Would you befriend these people whom God forbids you to befriend? Sura 60 13

And I suppose that all those fundamentalists that make you suffer so much -all of them and of all people- are precisely Palestinians? Is that the case? (I wonder even whether there is any Palestinian at all among them), or is it just that Palestinians are cheaper to have a shot at? Of how many Palestinian do you know who have comdemned anybody to anything for apostasy. Where did you fish that?

Complain about "fundamentalists" if you must. However I will not keep silent about or justify that "fundamentalism" serves as an excuse to crucify once more the Palestinian people and defame them. That is cheap, cruel, heartless and some other things that I rather not say. They don't have much left God and some nut people here and there the world over that still hold on to the truth even when the truth is trampled and spit on. It is so fashionable to bash Palestinians, all knowledgeable people do it. I can't fathom that people expect sympathy when they in turn abuse those who are victims of of a generations long, minute and cruel of persecution beyond belief.

And yes, I know and have known many, many Palestinians, and have seen how they have been turned into legitimate target of cowardice and ignorance. Do tose who despise a persecuted people think that what happens to the Palestinians can never happen to them?

May God have mercy on us, we need it a lot. We need it an awful lot, much more than the Palestinians.

            Salaam

              Peace all,

Huruf, I don't understand why you have reacted in such a way and nearly accuse Tarikh of being a palestinian hater or something.
That Tarikh said about palestinians was in my opinion not so harsch and he could likely have given an examples of Talibans or the Red Tigers in Sri Lanka.

You lost the whole point because you stared blind on the single line mentioning palestinians

If you once more read his post you will find that he was talking about traditionalists who hates us who uphold Quran only. And even if you pity the palestininas they would likely not save you if you tell them you are a Quran only follower, that's it.

Are you perhaps an palestinian yourself?

              Peace
              Maria

Has he (Tarikh) or has he not any knowledge that Palestinians are such as he has described them?
I myself know many Palestinians but not such as he has described. None. In his previous post he didn't mention any nationality except palestinians, and in the next he mentions also israelis to show that he has nothing against anybody, but again goes on assuming things about Palestinians, because seemingly in his first post he hadn't assumed enough. The point however is that he has picked Palestinians as some egregious example of "fundamentalism", and that is why I have asked, if those fundamentalists that are hurting him so much are indeed Palestinians all of them, some of them, none of them, or what, because he is not speaking in a vacuum, he has been speaking all along of people who are making his life very difficult where he lieves. Palestinians are not particularly noted for being "fundamentalists", and certainly not for being the most fundamentalists.

                Then you (Sweden Majidah) say

"And even if you pity the palestininas they would likely not save you if you tell them you are a Quran only follower, that's it."

Are you really saying something like that? What can I say? But of course they wouldn't save me!!! What an idea!!! Palestinians are "fundamentalists", they are not people like other people are people, they wouldn't do any good to anybody, right?
It must be great to know who is going to save who and who isn't. Great indeed. I myself wouldn't know, and thought that nobody would know, not really.

But as if is your assumptions about Palestinians were not clear this way, the previous part of your message makes them clear enough. You say

"That Tarikh said about palestinians was in my opinion not so harsch and he could likely have given an examples of Talibans or the Red Tigers in Sri Lanka."

So you equate Palestinian, not with Afghans, but with Talibans, and not with Srilankans, but with Tamil Tigers. That is, Palestinians are not a people or a nation but a terror group. And "that is it", as you say. Clear enough. You really have arranged it, Sweden Majidah. Undoubtedly, compared to that what Tarikh said was indeed "not so harsh".

Finally, you say "And even if you pity the palestininas"

I don't pity Palestinians. They are being tested and blessed. Pity is more deserved elsewhere.

                Salaam

Oh My God............. pr you really make big assumptions all the time.

Ok, forget about all nations of people may it be palestinians or algerians, Saudis etc but instead put the word traditionalists.

It was that I was having in my thought when I read it. That they hate us and will not be afraid of killing us because we uphold Quran only faith.

But then you freaked out more than it was required to do just of Tarikh mentioned palestinians nope .

I don't judge any group of people and they are nearly all traditionalists anyway and they can threat us, but if they don't do that, i'm keeping a friendly way with them.

                  Peace
                  Maria

Sometimes we don't judge, we just take for granted a judgement already done, and even if we are not conscious of it, it does "seep" into our thinking and talking. I haven't tried to annoy anybody, but to set a record straight. Some things are taken for granted that shouldn't, and some people are more useful than others as punching balls, and therefore they come "naturally" to mind. I thought that might be of interest since I don't think anybody here does that deliberately.

Exactly! we don't judge, we just take for granted a judgement already done for example a fundamentalist Muslim is considered fanatic as judgement was passed by the media. Freedom fighter are called insurgents and now the new word is Islamist which according to my understanding would mean peace activist
As for the word Jihaddist well!! Think of Coca Cola who are striving with all their might to make world believe Coca Cola is vital to live a better life they are among many others are the jihaddist

                      Best regards

Not to be insistent, but just as a matter of introspection for those who might care

Do you realise that Palestinians DO KNOW who is not going to save them, at least who hasn't saved for over 60 years?

We can go and pass judgement over them or over anybody who doesn't come up to our expectations or who does come but we just choose not to see it because that does not make us feel good. We are so damned busy being in possession of truth and being cleverer than others...

                          Peace all,

My opinions are that we can all be saved and released from hardships if we focus enough and being grateful of what we already have.

The biggest mistake humans commit daily is that they focus of the actual problem they have but if they only could turn the problems they would solve the problems.

I can take an example It's a big facts that it exists war right now in this world and we also know that it exists many antiwar organisations, right!?

But if we join those antiwar organisations we automatically focus on wars and then the wars will only get more fuel to it's fire.

If we instead created peace organisations we would automatically think of peace and all good things about peace and all the focus and energy would be on peace and that in turn will make peace be a possibility.

So we have the power in our thoughts and if we join right kind of organisations and focus of good things then there will be no room for bad and evil forces to rule.

We have the power in our hand, it's only a choice if we want good or bad.

No, I on't think so. Only God is powerful, and He lets us have as much of that power as He wills when He wills. We have to accept that we are not allpowerful, in fact that we may be absolutely powerless, and that is not bad. Quite the opposite, that makes us realise as nothing else what we are, and hopefully that may make us compassionate to ourselves and others. We are not allpowerful no matter how many organisations we join, nor are any organisations all powerful. There are very good very positive people that live and die suffering. Were they wrong? They will be told in the akhira. As musmlims, believers in the Qur'an, we know that God will not be even an atom short in reward and that he is karim, latif, wadud, rahman rahim. Many faithful have died in battle, be it with arms or be it with their unknown efforts to be just and upright in easance or in difficulties. Were they not positive enough, if they kept fait? I am sure they were positive, absolutely positive. There is loss in this world, plenty of it, the point is that loss is not sin, in fact loss is better than sin. If we accept what you say, then we are saying that many pure and faithful people have been a bunch of idiots, because they didn't succeed. And those who at this very time suffer under unbearable situations do we say that there is something they are not doing right, and that if they only did this and that...? I find that that would be a tasteless joke. Fortunately our Lover doesn't make that kind of jokes. If we believe the Qur'an, those who suffer patiently and keep faith succeed big way, succeed forever. And we must not be coy in saying so. Those who did so and died are in the abode their Creator prepared for them, the abode of tender love, the abode of all beauty, the abode of sincerity. If we only believe in this world we are deluding ourselves. There is absolute justice in this world only if taken together with the other, if taken alone, there is some justice and much injustice in varying proportions. And, for this time I will allow myself a side step to the gospels and mention those words of the humble servant of God, Jesus the beloved, when he said my kigdom is not of this world. He was indeed a companion of the sincere and the humble. Indeed. Indeed we are given the possibility in this world of hoarding for the next, only it is so hard and difficult, that we cannot fake it. We must do it for real, suffer for real, humble ourselves for real, ask for compasion for real, and be grateful for real for all those things and for everything. The reward will also be real in sha Allah, al wadud, al 'afu, al aziz, al kareem, arrahman, arrahim, assamad.

                                    Peace,

Religious people are very stubborn and closedminded and cannot see the forest due to all trees, I have got this right now from you.

It's seems like many of you think that God is a man who sit somewhere in space and control us like marionette dolls nope
