I read through the intro on amazon. The english is typical of academic papers, but there are ten other chapters by different authors.
One of whom I recognize as the guy who wrote the poetic translation of the Quran. Its ?25 on co.uk. Let me know if you find it a uk bookstore.The place of the Qur?an and its meanings for contemporary Muslim life forms a prominent theme in their texts.
