I thought this article was kinda freaky, think of all the misuse and abuse they could do with this new technology, im sure they will use it when they need it, but for now, just eat, sleep, obey, and consume.

I can certainly see the extension of this new facility for sneaking in messages that people won't be able to defend themselves against, maybe installed in voting machines?

Nothing to care. This is actually reasonably old technology using ultrasound to direct everything and it was featured on news years ago. How would you intimidate people using voting machines with that? Why wouldn't you just ignore their choice, if you had access to the machine, and count your chosen candidate instead of theirs? Ockham's razor )
