Regarding Pornography

Peace Tarikh, all,
You asked
How can there be unity if no one agrees with each other?
Since when does difference of opinion negate unity? And what kind of unity would you expect if all opinions were identical? (see House M.D.'s post) Doesn't unity imply fundamental concepts and not menial details?
Nevertheless, difference of opinion is actually a sidetrack from your original contention, and that was, "You guys are jokers. How can u condone porn?" Well, it's pretty clear that no one here condones it. However, we are not living in fear of discussing it. Nor are we ashamed or embarrassed to discuss it because, quite simply, it's existence is a fact of life. Thus it is irrelevant what any group of united individuals may extrapolate from such a discussion, particularly one which makes it taboo to even mention such things.
This life, brother, is not about competing with any groups, or trying to gain acceptance from any groups, it is about discovering truth and doing your best to live by it, knowing full well that in the end, that's how you'll be judged. No discussion is taboo as long as the intention behind the willing participants is 'good'.
So, if a specific topic makes you uncomfortable, it's very easy to move along to something else. There really is no need to micromanage every discussion in the context of unity. According to the qur'an, God PURPOSELY made us different so that we may learn from each other. Is there not some wisdom in that?
Peace,

Peace tarikh,
Hey, quit telling me what i should do, what i should read. I have the right to have an opinion too and to express it too, even if you might not agree to it.
Of course you do. But in the course of expressing your opinion, you were off-base, and even exaggerrated with comments like As least submitters dont condone animal sex on their site.
So, please, express away. Just have the common courtesy of doing so based on what's actually being said on the thread.

Of course you have the right to have an opinion. But guess what? So does everyone. If you want to say something without it being scrutinized, there's always the mirror to talk to.
Peace.

Hey you ****** why did u delete my post? Do u suppress freedom of expression?
So you complain about traditionalists being such and such but you are the same as them. You denigrate submitters, you call yourselves muslims, you are ashamed to be called yourselves submitters. Yet, you ******* know well that submitter means muslim. You creators of confusion, discriminative hypocrites. Follow quran alone but not hadith and sunna but also follow the opinions of celebrities politicians etc
You stupid *****, haven't u read my post well? I said i had the right to have an opinion too! Cant you read? -
Peace
Did I not tell you there are limits to speech here? Our Lord does not condone certain things and neither shall we. You shall reap the rewards for your deeds, but the best judge is God and I'm sure He's got the clear book concerning what you have done and has your inheritance for you Tarikh.

Divergence in opinions will never lead to anything coherent. How can there be unity if no one agrees with each other?
Who says that everyone has to agree for there to be unity? there are numerous different denominations of Christians, but they call each other Christian. There are different branches of Buddhism, and yet, they still call each other Buddhists. If someone believes in something, and another person believes in something else, as long as the persons involve don't cause problems - who cares?
