    Hi every one.
    Let me introduce myself.Born to a muslim family.Brought up in the atmosphere of Hadeeth/traditions all around.There used to be many questions in mind which remained unanswered.In routine I got some arabic fundamental coaching at home.I studied the Quran in the light of traditional Islam but it could not satisfied my mind.A time came when I got practically disgusted from Islam ,though apparently remained a "muslim".On the advice of one of my friend I tried to study "ahlulquran"literature.Initially it impressed me a lot but later I realized that at so many points they lose rationality which is the mainstay of the quran.FRom their literature many questions popped up in the mind which remained answered.Consequently,mind does not know what to do.Anti-islam literature and propagangda is making its way.

    Unless satisfactory answers are not available ,it seems difficult to remain in the muslim community.
    May I hope to get proper answers from this forum ??
    Regards

        Peace to all,

        First, welcome to the forum agnostic, I pray you will receive the guidance to obtain the answers you seek, keep an open mind and heart and search with sincerity, God willing you will find the truth.

        Can I ask though, what you mean by this;

        "Anti-islam literature and propagangda is making its way."

        If you could give us some examples and what specifically it is that concerns you maybe we can begin to help.

        Respectfully,

        Kurt

          Nowaday,there are many websites saying ;
          Quran is not preserved
          Quran is full of errors.
          Quran was never implemented in 1400 yrs even in the life of Prophet ,how can it be now.
          "Islam" (if it can be called) was spread by sword not by any rational approach.
          and so on .
          If the Quran is not preserved then whole base of islam is shattered.
          Regards

            Welcome Agnostic

            Its right to have an agnostic approach to studying the Quran so I hope The God guides you to see the light in the Quran.

            I understand with all the propaganda material to refute the Quran it makes it harder to believe but i know from reading the Quran its the word of The God as there are many signs within that book it makes it hard to not believe.

            PEACE

              welcome welcome

              I encourage you to post threads if you want to ask direct questions. Maybe start a thread on a topic you struggle with the most. You will find many good people here who are not judgemental and are sincere.

              Depending on where you live you may or may not find others who are willing to study religion with an open mind. I lived in Pakistan for a year and found it next to impossible to find a person who would speak to me with an open mind. "Kafir" was nearly the first thing out of their mouths when I questioned the hadeeths.

              May God help you find the truth... whatever the truth may be.

              peace,
              dotty

                Hello Leoxyz, nice account name this time

                In routine I got some arabic fundamental coaching at home.

                Isn't that very convenient! And in a "traditionalist home" as well!

                  Salam Agnostic,

                  welcome welcome welcome

                  Regarding the Quran issues... I think it's a test to us on how strong do we believe in God. I also once doubt about the authenticity of it. In Quran God had promised that it's their job to preserve it. So just believe in Him. I think the Quran that we have now is preserved already, any missing pages or surah's or verses is God will, only He knows what is better for us. Just believe in Him. And from what i see in Quran, the context is still there nothing to worry about.

                  May God bless us.

                  Peace handshake
