My mom investigates the paranormal, and the most amazing thing she has collected from these activities is EVPs. Essentially they are voices found on an audio recording which were not audible at the time. Sometimes they even have accents appropriate to the region. For instance she recorded at at a spanish cattle ranch, and she asked "Is general vallejo here?" and a few seconds later a voice answered in a spanish accent "I love you." I know she isn't fabricating these, so wherever the disjointed voices comes from, they are remarkable.

That one, and other clear EVPs can be listened to at a page on her website here http//www.geocities.com/kashmere2u/evp25.html

Tell me what you think; I'm curious to see other peoples reactions!

        Wheres the part about EVPs?

        The application says

"I, James Randi, through the JREF, will pay US$1,000,000 to any person who can demonstrate any psychic, supernatural or paranormal ability under satisfactory observing conditions. Such demonstration must take place under the following rules and limitations"

However my mother does not claim to have any special abilities. She simply uses an audio recorder in empty rooms and various other sites, then later finds sudden interjections of someone speaking, whom was not present with her, and often saying something bizzare or irrelevant.

If you listen to the recordings on the link I posted previously you can hear that they are very clearly words. I don't see how Randi or anyone could deny that these are words being spoken on the recordings. You could, however, argue that they were fabricated, but since I know the process she goes through, and I have been present for some of these recordings, I know such is not true.

I don't know how Randi would observe this, besides coming along with her. All he would have to do is notice that the voice later found was not with them at the time.

          Peace "evre",
If you really believe the process is not fabricated then contact the JREF at randi.org. Theyve been challenging people for years and paranormal activities include EVPs. You can ask the JREF yourself. They include that in their challenge. Then go ahead and take it and show the world that you and your partner are for real. GOD Bless!

Ok maybe, but until then, please listen and tell me what you think. Especially the "shut up right now" one and "I love you". I actually did see one guy who was going to do EVPs, but he backed out or got hurt or something. I havn't seen anyone else proposing that on their list.

I did. It was very eerie.

P.S. There was someone on chat regularly around a month or two back with the nick photoghost or somesuch. Strangely enough, another nick by the name of witch something kept saying "I love you" to photoghost...weird. If I'd known of this thread, I might've used the "shut up" EVP right about then.

                  Peace Evre,
Those sound very real. I would have thought they were fake but considering you know who does these its pretty amazing. Some sound alot like people especialy the paino one, and the loud whisper.

PM me if you want to talk about this because I have some personal experiences that your mum may find useful.
