Yes. A lot of verses in the quran could never have come from an early Arab or anyone else for that matter.
The mechanism, is something else but there is no doubt that it is from anyone other than god.

yes, i believe He does. consider the sending of the Zabur (Psalms) to David. the spirit of God's inspiration touched the author, and he was sent the beautiful verses and hymns collected there from. as guides and signs. i think it is dangerous and very limiting to equate the truth of God to a text, as some Christians do. case in point, a dear friend who is a conservative Baptist and his approach to the Bible.
