Holocaust poll
-
In a dramatic and unprecedented videotaped interview, Dr. Franciszek Piper, senior curator and director of archives of the Auschwitz State Museum admitted on camera that 'Krema 1,' the alleged 'homicidal gas chamber' shown off to hundreds of thousands of tourists every year at the Auschwitz main camp, was, in fact, fabricated after the war by the Soviet Union -apparently on the direct orders of Josef Stalin.
That is a very big charge to level. What reason would Josef Stalin have to set up these camps?

Brother I have visited one of the camps..believe me, its a horrific place. It's in no way fabricated. Why are people defending the Nazis???

The Holocaust included many different groups
- Jews
- Slavs
- Gypsies
- Intellectuals (that way they wouldn't speak out against Hitler)
- Homosexuals
- The mentally retarted
- Handicaps
- and many, many others...
You missed out Freemasons, Catholics, Muslims, etc.
And this is why the figure of 6 million is wrong, there were more.

House MD
Between 1930 and 1933 many Jews living in Germany fled, including people like Einstein.
Jews were forced to wear yellow stars in order to identify themselves, and they often lived in special "ghetto" areas of the city.
It wasnt hard to round them up, and it certainly wasnt hard to pump a room of jews full of gas. -

Peace,
I did not answer anything on the poll, because anything is possible. I think it is interesting that Jews have such a powerful position in the world following a holocaust. So I am open to the fact that it may not have been on the scale that most people think it was. I also think it should be emphasized that other people besides Jews suffered catostrophic slaughter (dare I saw holocausts) during that time . I also don't think the holocaust should be used by many Jewish organizations and Israel as a guilt trip for people to give them whatever they want, and so they can accuse people of being anti-semitic whenever someone disagrees with Israel's policies, doesn't like a particular person who happens to be a Jew, or is a critic of the racist ideology of Zionism. Lastly I don't like how Jewish people (a great deal of whom aren't even Semitic, specifically Ashkenazis) try to monopolize the term Semetic, when they know good and well that even THEY consider the Arabs to be Semitic, and they even speak a Semitic langauge. Those are my gripes. I think the Holocaust happened and I think it was a crime against humanity but I am open to the possiblity that it wasn't on the scale that we think it was although I have not formed a clear opinion on it, and will not until I have some clear evidence.
Godbless,

Godbless,
AnwarWhether it was exaggerated or underestimated, it was awful.

Whether it was exaggerated or underestimated, it was awful.
Yes it was.
-
It's unfortunate that another holocaust is happening today, in Palestine.
-
Unfortunately they are happening all over the world, just on a smaller, less newsworthy scale.
bravo
-
I think the only thing worser than a group of people targeting another group of people is when a group of people murder their own people.
Think of Cambodia, think of China where, for the sake of ideology, millions died. Some were murdered, others starved to death. And that's just two countries of the modern world.

Oh yeah, in relation to the topic at hand, here's an article about Hitler. I've often heard people use Hitler to justify ridiculous claims in the vein of "Well Hitler was a vegetarian! Hitler was a Christian! Hitler was an atheist! Hitler loved animals!" I thought this one was interesting because it attempts to debunk the claim that Hitler was a Christian
http//usminc.org/hitler.html
In any case, whenever Godwin's Law creeps into an argument I like to retort with a "Well Hitler used to breathe too!"

Hitler was certainly not a Christian, he ordered thousands of churches closed, imprisoned many Priests and Ministers etc.

Does truth fear investigation?
Does truth need laws to protect it from being questioned?
Does truth need to throw those who appose it in jail?
hmmIs there any other historical event that you can be thrown in jail for daring to question in the "free" world?

I suppose it depends on what you think of as the "free world", I'm not sure it actually exists. But certainly you cannot be thrown into jail for questioning historical events in the UK or US as far as I know

Peace to all,
the only thought crime in the world that is officially punished with prison is to question the holocaust, there are many example of this even today Rev, so do you think one should be thrown in prison for historical research? And who says Hitler wasnt a christian? So you cant be a christian and shit down some churches, in fact he left almost all of them open and left them alone, and attended regularly himself, and who says he cant arrest a priest, they still arrest and imprison them today dont they?

Well yes that's true. I don't think anyone should be jailed for historical research nor for their beliefs.

yes I truly agree. Sad thing is, in countries like iran/north korea they arrest people for political beliefs.
