Peace all,
Please listen to this clip and see how the Quran Alone Muslim Shaikh explains that the verses cannot be referring to physical klling. I beleive he makes sense. Please state your opinions. Thankyou. GOD Bless! -
Peace "House M.D",
Yes it's true and im particularly worried about his understanding of 3356 as he understands it the traditional way and utters "sallallaahu 'alaihi wassalam" everytime he mentions Muhammad whilst actually it should readGOD and His angels help and support the prophet. O you who believe, you shall help and support him, and regard him as he should be regarded.
Furthermore i dont know but it appears as if he considers Muhammad as the greatest of all humans too and insists on utetering "Muhammadurrasoolullah" after "la ilaaha ilallah". He even goes one step further and says that this "kalima" is yet incomplete and adds another statement "WA khaatamun nabiyeen(and the seal of the prophets)" to it. So according to him the testimony is "la ilaaha ilallah muhammadurrasoolullah wa khaatmanun nabiyeen" TWICE the emphasis on Muhammad. But then again in one lecture i heard himmaking a clear distinction between Muhammad as a human and as a messenger so im not too sure about his intention and whether this is must a confusion on his art which he still needs to get over as bro Fahad once pointed out to me. GOD Bless!

Peace again,
I firgot to mention in yet another lecture he states that "masjid al-aqsa" actually refers to the mosque supposedly built by Muhammad in Medina. Besides this he carries out salat, ramadan, hajj and umra in the traditional way(dont know whether he also kisses the black stone or no). The only exception is with Zakat which he interprets as justification and claiming that the charity(sadaqa), which is PART of Zakat according to him, should be 1/5th or 20% according to the following Quranic verse
You should know that any GHANIM, one-fifth shall go to GOD and the messenger, to be given to the relatives, the orphans, the poor, and the traveling alien. You will do this if you believe in GOD and in what we revealed to our servant on the day of decision, the day the JOINT DEAL BETWEEN THE TWO PARTIES(JAMA'AAN). GOD is Omnipotent.
GHANIM besides meaning spoils of war can also mean any profit/gain. He does not understand this as war booty since he emphasises already that the Quran doesnt promote physical warfare at all. That seems reasonable. GOD Bless!
