But there will be people like that, how to see them during the prayer? They will most likely be troube makers.

Well, i wouldn't let men pray behind women, or let women pray behind men, because they'd be tempted at watching the brother's or sister's butt. Who knows.

I have prayed behind women, young and old, "beautiful" and "ugly", since 1999 in our small group in Tucson, and I have never entertained such thoughts, even once! Anyone who have such imagination during their prayers, their problem is not the butts of men and women leading the prayer, but it is their unnatural fear of opposite sex and their culture of segregating sexes in every aspect of their lives that turn their brain extremely sensitive to sexual fantasies. I think such scrupulousness by itself begets such disturbing ideas. It is a self-fulfilling paranoia.

      Peace,
      Edip

Sure Jim, but you don't need anyone to tell you....

              Peace lk

That's right - don't let anyone tell you anything - you are free to make up your own mind about everything!

                Peace Edip,

It's good to be honest about yourself evey now and then.

But seriously though most mosques are overcrowded, I don't think there would be any problem if the rows were suffciently spaced.

In ruko the nose-butt distance is less than inch and then in sujood you have to contend with his/her feet, whilst being sandwiched by the people on both sides.

Dear TAJ Okay, let me concede that this is one way of interpreting my response. Now, I expect you to think without trying to be a smart-alek, and understand my statement as it should be. Should I try to help you?

                  Peace,
                  Edip

Why make silly jokes like that? Its quite obvious the how Edip meant that comment.

But anyway, enjoyed reading the thread.

Dear TAJ are we suppose to close our eyes in prayer? what's so wrong if we concentrate on prayer and see who is looking beautiful and who is ugly? After finishing the prayer you can even tell her that she is looking more beautiful today MashaAllah... I don't see anything wrong in that either. group

It must be awful for a man with homosexual tendencies or fantasies to be praying and have some other butts right by his nose. No wonder so many awful things happen...

The believers are members of one family; you shall keep the peace within your family and reverence GOD, that you may attain mercy.
how I can think bad thoughts in the God's home, how we can to call someone who look at the women as a animal a believer, then if you've a psychic problem towards women why you don't use Niquab , also women sometimes in the street catches men .
I haven't problem for praying God behind a woman , the concentration in the prayer is an obligation sun
