The word "Zeker" is different from "Yata-Zeker". Zeker is smething that we use to remide us. The Word Yata-Zeker is to remeber. Trust me, I'm an Arabic native. Also, the Quran Verses that I mention says so.
    Peace

    Salam,
We have no disagreement with the above.
The only point is that it does not mean exclusively "book."

    Arnab

Those who reject the Message (Zeker) when it comes to them; and indeed it is (The Zeker) a Book of exalted power. (41-41)

Here, God is telling us that ?El-Zekr? is ?El-Ketab? (The Book).

        Al-quran is the book
        Al-Zekr is the book
and the book is the book

even though there wasn't a book at the time of Mohammad, according to history, but yet again when ayah 22 was received by Mohammad the book existed according to 22.

Remarkable or are we making a book when there was not a book?

A book which no one can alter and yet again anyone of us can alter it if we wanted to and even though the said book has actually been altered.

God Bless all who look for truth rather then sticking to their artificial beliefs.

        peace

          Salam,

Again, linguistically speaking the root zikr is to remember and the root kitab is book.

You can say that zikr is referring to book based on the context of what you are reading.

But the root zikr does not mean book independently.

You can say that you think that zikr is referring to book.
You can say that you think that it is symbolic.
You cannot say that the root word zikr means book.

          Salam,
          Arnab

            Dear Arnab & Simple
The revelation that God sent to Mohamed (PBUH) has many names. Each name refers to a character of the revelation. Here are some of the names that I can recall, and the reason of such names
?AlKetab? its root word is ?Katb?, which means write. Thus ?Alketab? refers to something is written, which means The Book.
AlQuran its root word is ?Qara?, which means read. Thus ?Alquran? refers to something that can be read.
Al-Huda its root word is ?Hada?, which means shows the write way. Thus, ?Al-Huda? refers to something that leads to the write path.
Al-Hak its root word is ?Hak?, which means the Ultimate Truth. Thus, Al-Hak refers to something that leads to the Ultimate Truth.
Al-Kest?? Its root word is ?Kast?, which means ?fairness?. Thus, Al-Kest refers to something that when used it will deliver fairness.
Hokm its root word is ?Hakm?, which means ?issuing Laws and Rules?. Thus ?Hokm Allah? refers to the Laws of Allah.
Al-Ziker Its Root word is ?Zaker?, which means remind. Thus, Al-Ziker refers to something that remind people when forgetting.

The Arabic words can look the same but means different things; example, Zaker means remind, but Zakr means remembered.

I hope I cleared some of the Confusion.
            Peace

              Salam,

Belalhammad as I said before we have no arguement in the word zikr meaning remind, remember or some variation thereof depending on the way the word is spelled.

What i am saying is one cannot say that zikr is a word that specifically means "book" or some variation thereof.

We can say yes, the Quran is a reminder but zikr on its own never means book.

              I, too, know Arabic.

Also, I probably should have said this clearer in my posts. I sometimes use just one or two words as an English definition of the Arabic word for simple discussion purposes.

Especially since most of us know Arabic or are learning Arabic.

I do not mean that it is only the one word that is the exact translation.

This was only to simplify the discussion, but I see it caused confusion.

              Just to summarize

The revelation that God sent to Mohamed (PBUH) has many names. Each name refers to a character of the revelation. Here are some of the names that I can recall, and the reason of such names

There is no disagreement or misunderstanding of the above. Yes, it is very simple.

The disagreement arises when a person says that if one reads "zikr" independently and says it means "book/writing or some variation thereof."

For example If you read 2150

zikr cannot be "book." You can say you think that the reminder indicated is alluding to alkitab but you cannot say that it is alkitab
because the word used is zikr.

I respect the fact that you may disagree but I hope that at least you understand what I am trying to say.

              Salam,
              Arnab

Ziker, as you said does not mean The word "Book". But, as I said in my last post, God used this word, beside other words to name his book. Thus, 21-50 refers to the Book, but useing other name "Ziker".
I'm sure that is true 100%. Thus, 15-9 refers to the "Book", the Quran, The Kest, the Hak, the Huda.
Thus, the Book is guarded by God.
                Peace

Okay, now we understand each other.

And yes I'm 100% sure that the Quran is protected.
There are other verses to prove this. 2-2 being the most impressive to me.

What of the Shiites claim that Uthmann removed 25% of the text when the variations were burned?

So you mean it was not burnt . Ok great
You mean the copies burnt not ORIGINAL which was scribed by hand of Prophet?
So where is the ORIGINAL?Are all those million copied free of wanted or unwanted spelling and text mistakes.?
How about this copy. how this one is not protected wen 128 and a129 is removed. Why is not protected?

I told you before, Guarding and protecting the Quran is God's Job; Only him! no angel, nor prophet, nor Messenger, nor you, nor Rashad Kalifa were asked by God to help him. And if you insist to do a Job that is not yours, you will go astray; I told you that before, and now; you will go astray, and you will make others go astray!!!

When I stand in front of God in the Judgment Day, I will till him that
"I did not Listen to Bahman nor Rashad Kalifa because you (God) told me that you will guard the Quran"

                                      Simple as that.

Another False Hadith; Quite listening to conjecture (rumors), and listen to the truth from your Lord. No one can tamper the Quran, because God is Guarding it.

Wert thou to follow the common run of those on earth, they will lead thee away from the Way of Allah. They follow nothing but conjecture they do nothing but lie. (6-116)

But most of them follow nothing but conjecture truly conjecture can be of no avail against Truth. Verily Allah is well aware of all that they do. (10-36)

Ok I notice your misunderstanding the truth and you never understood the role of code 19. This code belongs to God Alone in His message 7430. No human can design such secure system interlocking text into code 19 for protection. All those messages that God authored will protect it is code 19 which clearly says over it is 19 if in following verse 7431 was author in We chose this number for protection of this book.
Then we had thousand Hadith and wrong interpretation when this creature was not available to see the truth.
What bothers you about this code.
What makes different for you if I and many others converted and believe in Quran Alone just because of this code.
What is stopping you to remove this shell and think more openly and disregard all previous learning like ?fake Hadith? or ?right Hadith? .
Why you do not show your real name hide under cyber id when you talk about people with real name like Rashad.

This Quran could not possibly be authored by other than GOD. It confirms all previous messages, and provides a fully detailed scripture. It is infallible, for it comes from the Lord of the universe. If they say, "He fabricated it," say, "Then produce one sura like these, and invite whomever you wish, other than GOD, if you are truthful." Indeed, they have rejected this without studying and examining it, and before understanding it. Thus did those before them disbelieve. Therefore, note the consequences for the transgressors1037-39

                                        "studying and examining it"
Do you know how to examine it ?

Then explain it , but i remind you that I do not know Arabic well like you and there are another 7 billions like me.
I can not examine this to see if is right or wrong . I examine it with code and is forged when do not have any code. But I understand this with my little Arabic knowledge and understand this as is so simple that all you need to know how to -/*x, no formula ,no equation.

Are you saying that this statement is false?- the original revelations were written on leaves, bones, whatever could be written on.

Now Bahman has me wondering!! Where is the original hand written Quran?
