Muslim vs. Quran-Alone Muslim

I don?t mean to sound anal, but I think we who believe in worshiping only God and following only the Quran should refrain from calling ourselves anything but ?Muslims/Submitters?. I didn?t think it mattered that I called myself a ?Quran-Alone Muslim?, but after going through some of Layth?s old messages and through some of the Quran?s verses, I believe it?s important that we identify ourselves as Muslims only.
You shall strive for the cause of GOD as you should strive for His cause. He has chosen you and has placed no hardship on you in practicing your religion - the religion of your father Abraham. He is the one who named you "Submitters" originally. Thus, the messenger shall serve as a witness among you, and you shall serve as witnesses among the people. Therefore, you shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and hold fast to GOD; He is your Lord, the best Lord and the best Supporter.
We were named ?Submitters?, not ?Quran-Alone Submitters?. ?Submitter? is the label that God approved of.
Who can utter better words than one who invites to GOD, works righteousness, and says, "I am one of the submitters"?
According to the verse above, those who utter the best words are those who call themselves Submitters, so ?Submitter? is the best label righteous people can give themselves.
" `Among us are the submitters, and among us are the compromisers.' " As for those who submitted, they are on the right path.
Calling yourself a ?Quran-Alone Muslim? to distinguish yourself from so-called ?Muslims? is making a compromise because you?re not willing to make the effort required to redefine the meaning of ?Muslim?. We need to redefine ?Islam? and ?Muslim? by calling ourselves Muslims and by showing the world how good Islam is by being good, open-minded and progressive people.

The thing is, so called "Qur'an alone muslims" - me being one of them for the sake of this topic - do not call themselves as such. It is a name devised by people who follow the Hadith as a supplimentary guidance, so they see "Qur'an Alone" as an extreme system and many believe the Qur'an is incomplete and does not answer all questions necessary to live, which is blasphemy. I believe it's said as a derogatory term by sect-minded people who desire to divide people into groups, and uphold the Hadith as a guidance when it is truly a hinderance. And yes I think the Hadith in it's entirety should be ignored even if some of them remain true to the Qur'an. Why do I need an extra light from man when God's Light is eternal?
To be blunt, Muslims who read the Qur'an are the only muslims on this planet. Those who do not even read the Qur'an and have not taken the time to understand what God is saying are blind and do not truly believe (unless they are born dumb, dead and blind and do not have the means to acknowledge the Book; God is most merciful), because they are not using what God has given them to understand the Signs around them including the Qur'an. They just follow, and do not use their own intuition. You are right I do not think there should be any such thing as Sunni's Shi'a's 19ers Qur'an Aloners but its just human nature to divide into sects and rejoice in our own little understanding of the world. Which is why God has advised against it.

In fact, i have been calling myself here a Muslim and them sunnis and they didn't mind, furthermore, thy don't care because they don't see. I think they like being called sunnis and think i'm wrong calling myself a Muslim.When i say i'm a Muslim, they ask me which one sunni, shia,.....which one?
Then they call me kafir, jew, quraniya, christian......As soon as i start calling myself a Muslim they want to put me ina group. They say, either you're a sunni or shia or a jew or a kafir. Apparently the word united is not in their vocabulary. They do however mention hadeeth all the time, or at least, when i mention something from the Quran, they in a second mention 3 other hadeeth.
Few weeks ago i said that chapter 6, verse 114 (also 482) kills all the hadeeth and the guy said, astakfirullah, are you mad? Go hang yourself.
